A request for the parties

Day 902, 10:50 Published in USA USA by ligtreb

Party President elections are coming up (May 15). Of the three elections every month, these are the ones that usually get the least attention. But as we saw with the PTO of the Democratic Republicans last month, they can have huge implications on this country getting PTOed (Politically Taken Over).

I urge all the major parties to hold primaries to determine who should be their Party President. After the primaries are finished, I encourage the losing candidates to drop out of the in-game Party Presidential race so that only the endorsed candidates are on the ballot.

Why?

1) This makes your party less vulnerable to a PTO -- with the votes not being split, it takes more votes to unseat your endorsed candidate.
2) It frees up your voters to help if another party is being PTOed like the Democratic Republicans were in April.
3) It gives the party's active members more of a say in who should be the next Party President.

This is not a new idea, some parties have been doing this, but most have not. This might seem undemocratic, but it's quite the opposite, giving those who are interested a bigger say and protecting this country from an Anti-American political take over.

For the majority of citizens who are not running for Party President, I encourage you hold your vote until your last log-in in case we learn of any PTO threats. And if we do learn of a threat, don't hesitate to leave your party for a few seconds, join the party being PTOed, and vote for the correct candidate (after you vote, you can move back to your old party).

While I don't see any potential PTO candidates yet on any major party's ballot, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you for reading.
