A quick word from the (banned) Glove.

Day 1,280, 16:41 Published in USA USA by Luthengard

"Glove here, talking to you from the other side through a friend.

I am sure most of you have already seen Depici's article, if not, I'm sure theres a few copies around still, but his was deleted by Wigs He is calling for a world wide revolution, he has put into a short article what many of us have been thinking of for months. Depici is right.

This is not new, however. The last time we had a rebellion, circa 2-3 months ago~, it ended in failure. The admins banned several country presidents, introduced the "Natural Enemy" feature, and gave us some new missions to make us stay quiet. They won. We briefly held peace throughout most of the world but these new features put us back to button smashing.

A big reason for the failure last time was because of the lack of commitment we had from several of the gold buyers. If we truly want to make this revolution succeed, we require all gold buyers to pledge to halt their reckless spending until the reasonable demands of the eRepublik community are met.

Gentlemen, we need solidarity.

They will try to censor us, they will give us forfeit points, they will ban us. So what? Do you really have that much to lose? Do these pixels mean that much to you? Is conquering that one virtual region worth the dismay of the masses?

This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.

Do I need to remind you, what kind of power each and every one of you have?

Without you, this game is nothing, but it seems they have forgotten that and are too busy drowning themselves in euros.

I’m sure all of you—who have spent so long toiling in this game, sinking into states of insomnia, sacrificing God knows how many years of what, in truth, is a piece of parchment that in truth has been so devalued by our instant gratification culture as to have been rendered meaningless—will join the revolution.

When we compare this game to its older versions, I think we can say confidently this is the worst version yet. There is no need for strategy at this point. 10-40 guys total decide the outcomes of war, the rest of us, those who do not buy gold, are simply second class citizens. What point is there in creating baby-booms, if their damage is virtually useless?

There are citizens in this game that do more damage than entire countries, is it a sad sight, and to be honest it does not matter if they are on my alliance or not, it is gross and disgusting to see such a game where a handful of players control everything.

Forget your candy bar units and missions, I say never be complete, I say stop being perfect, I say let... lets evolve, let the chips fall where they may. I am prepared to be banned, if that is what it takes to achieve a better eRepublik. This wouldn't the first time I've met the ban-hammer. With the economy and war module the way they are, what do we have to lose?

Our great war is a spiritual war. Never in the history of this game has it been so meaningless to fight. What good is it to conquer a region that will be won back the next day? Where are the endless days of planning and strategy that were required in the past? Hello kitty, Lion king, Limpopo, we will never see operations like this in this module.

Something needs to change, and you will have to help.

But here’s the good news. You can fix this thing, you’re the next greatest generation, people. You do this—and I believe you can—you win this war on the admins.

One of the first players to aggressively and successfully attack the admins was Dio Brando, and I'd just like to share this quote with you:

“ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. ”

Embark on this journey with us. Don't falter. Don't let them bribe you with candy bars and missions. Gather the gold buyers and the Cps, we have to make this happen. Strength through unity.

PEACE AT HOME, PEACE IN THE WORLD."

This is copy and pasted from another article, but I think Glove would want as many people as possible to see this.
