There is no "citizenry" in the Theocracy. One can be a citizen whilst residing in Ireland, the UK, or any nation in the New World. All that article tells me is that he is no longer actively fighting for the Theocracy in Spain.

"Indefinite" means his role as an active member of the THA is on hold for an unidentified amount of time. Had he said "permanent" leave, then you'd have point.

I don't doubt DT's love of eIreland but I would also be uncomfortable with anyone remaining a Theocrat while pledging allegiance to our nation. I think the solution is simple enough. I would ask DT if he is prepared to sever all ties with the Theocracy. Yes or no.
