I propose an alliance of small business owners; The Grocers Guild

I would like to extend my hand in friendship to fellow Greek grocers, restaurateurs and food sellers.
Too often do markets get dominated by conglomerate corporations who can afford to sell cheaper than anyone else.

What I propose is that all of us (who are interested in allying ourselves) pick a fixed price and everyone in the alliance sells for that price.
This is similar to the practice that 3 gas stations across the street from each other will sometimes adopt to prevent prices falling so low they go out of business.
This will insure that those with less stock get sold first and then the larger companies can sell when the smaller ones have nothing left.

Daily in shouts we will announce price changes so that we may all sell for the same price.

We will still be competitive with those not in The Grocers Guild.
