Join the new world

Let me begin with who I am. First off, I am American. Currently, I am an officer in the elite Mobile Infantry. I am pretty active, especially on the irc. I have never really believed in this right/left stuff, I just want to do what is best for the nation. I am currently the only candidate endorsed by the ICCCP.

I have some specific ideas. First, on international trade, if one looks here. one can see we have low import taxes. I see this as a good thing for consumers. However, some company owners see this as unfair, because other nations have much higher import taxes. We should put pressure on our trading partners to lower their tariffs by forming a diplomatic team to negotiate with them.

Second, I would like to discuss the checks in our government. As it is, the President can create offices, appoint people to them and fire them, without even input from congress. That is just one example of how our government acts, with few checks and balances.

Finally, on our role in the world. Since ATLANTIS dissolved, we have been without an official alliance organization. While this has not deterred us from victory, I feel we should take initiative in this area. If we just wait on the sidelines for someone else to determine our role in the world, then we may end up with another alliance we don't like. The problem right now, is that even though ATLANTIS is gone in name, most ATLANTIS nations are still allied with each other, and against PEACE. The only way the world will no longer be defined as ATLANTIS vs. PEACE, is if we get PEACE members to join our side.
