A NRB look at; the eNorway PP-election results of March 2012

Day 1,578, 10:10 Published in Norway Finland by Kristoph Woldskji

Hello good fellow citizens of eNorway and foreign spectators!

Today's article is a summary of yesterdays partypresident-election, I'll start with the results and then comment under each party;

NLP - Tommy Skaue -35
NLP - pospana - 4
NLP - deadfen -2
NLP - Aeon Phlo -1

Tommy S. aka Cherub is re-elected PP with a win miles ahead of his challengers, not unexpected though.

Teknokratene - Nejjko - 21
Teknokratene -KristofferAG - 20

Nejjko wins during a early morning race for votes, and keeps the newly restarted Teknokratene under PTO-control.

AEEA - Stakerauo - 11

Stakerauo takes a plain and simple victory as the only candidate in AEEA.

Connecting People - Sirdar - 7
Connecting People - FreemanBRE - 2
Connecting People - SerGoxy - 0

Sirdar takes control over CP with fair margin, after a surprise, last minute nomination

Vi som elsker Norge - jaksa Gacanin - 5
Vi som elsker Norge - Kristoph Woldskji - 5

jaksa G. wins on general draw-rules, since he's the more experienced player.
This party, also known as the original Teknokratene, Tekno Kratene, Volim Partizan and Vi som elsker Norge have yet again been transformed; this time into (the) Holy Serbian Kingdom of Norway, to make a further mockery of eNorwegians from the PTO-side

Norwegian National Party - swib - 0

No votes, none needed, swib maintains control over NNP

Liberation Cloud - Jovan Stanojevic - 2

Jovan S. was the lone candidate and is re-elected as PP

SEVERNA ARMIJA - Cvoka 022 - 1
SEVERNA ARMIJA - Brenda Beachman - 1

Cvoka 022 takes over as PP by being the more experienced player in a low vote, dead tie.

I Heart Norway

Had no candidates for PP, so Max Manus stays in power

Freedom Fighters - dzonyss - 1

Lone candidate, maintains PTO-control in FF

Summary;
Most results probably went as people expected, as Tommy S and Stakerauo maintained power.
Although most eNorwegians hoped that KristofferAG would take home a victory in Teknokratene, it just wouldn't be this time around either, but we sincerly hope that he will run for PP again in 1month to push out nejjko or any other PTO'er!
A rather positive surprise was Sirdar's simple victory in Connecting People, proving that taking control from the PTO's ain't impossible, if organized and/or lucky.

My 5 cents on the election;
Could have gone better, could have been worse, seen with eNorwegian eyes...
There was fairly little infomation going around pre-election, that might have caused some confusion, as you can see from the election-results.

A good example is in AEEA were Stakerauo got 11votes even though he was the only candidate.
I'll take (some of) the blame for this, as the article I hastly wrote wedensday evening lacked information about the parties which only had 1 single candidate.
A second example is in NLP were Tommy S. skyrocketed vote-wise, while they could have been used differently.

Another thing is that I don't think it's clear enough for the fresh players, is that you can freely exchange party, even on electionday and vote for another candidate who needs it more than others.

Next up is the congress-election on the 25th of March; it'll be exciting to see if we'll plan to be wiped by Russia at the time to avoid PTO-players in congress or if we'll take the chance and see where the road leads us further ahead! I am sure that president Endymionis and his cabinet will give some annoucements before the 25th.

So up untill the next election, then the good ol' song still screams; educate the younglings!
On the parties, the candidates, their choices and their possibilities.
We all play this game at a different level of activity, but we still need more eNorwegian players, perferably rl-norwegians... 🙂

Goodbye for now, thanks for your attention!
