A Newcomer

Day 479, 14:33 Published in Canada Canada by Derek Harland

My name is Derek Harland and I created this newspaper in an effort to capture the newcomers interests and feelings. I am a very new member to eRepublik, and I must say, it is a very fun game. There is a lot you can do, and best of all it is free. Being a newcomer to this game is a bit of a challenge though. No one knows who you are, you need to work your way up the ladder, and you need to get used to how things work.

I am not the most knowledgeable person about this game I will admit. I am still learning many things and I am always trying to learn new things about the game. This is mostly going to be an opinion column or a tip to help a newcomer. I probably won't be of much interest to the more experienced, veteran players of the game but I will always try my best to keep the public informed and express my views. I don't expect to get many subscribers or any at all at the beginning of my newspaper. Eventually, obviously, my intention is to become a top newspaper but that is only in my wildest dreams.

This newspaper is going to be an alternate view, hence the title name, one of someone trying to work their way up the ranks. I am a PPC member as you can tell by the picture. They are an up-and-coming party and I agree with their views very much. It is amazing how this game is so deep that it actually would require a President to have a good platform and to know actual issues. That is what intrigues me about this game. And best of all, the game is free.

I don't want to drag this article on too long so I am going to leave off here. This is only an introductory article and my future articles will look to be improved upon. I take all suggestions, comments, recommendations and I actually enjoy them. So comment, subscribe do whatever you can to make me a happy eCitizen.

This is Derek Harland, signing out.
