The new "Natural Enemy" and "automatic battles" rules lead to the constant presence of free important battles in each country. Because of that, most of the biggest countries are concerned about their own battles and can not help allies as it was in the past. Paying 100 golds for Mutual Protection Pacts with countries busy in their own battles, is useless now more than ever.
Few MPPs with only closest and trusted allies is the best way to proceed. More gold can be used to train the army and supply arms to the tanks that can change a battle history.
After Brasil, also Turkey, Hungary and Serbia left Phoenix. Macedonia should follow this path soon.
Eden continues to exist but it is likely that smaller alliances will be created.
The "Big Alliance" Era is over. A more selfish but also more lively Era is beginning. This is the birthday of a New World Order.

Le nuove regole del "Nemico naturale" e delle "battaglie automatiche" che si aprono gratuitamente ogni giorno, hanno portato a una presenza costante di importanti e gratuite battaglie quotidiane. A causa di questo, la maggior parte delle superpotenze è costantemente e direttamente impegnata in importanti battaglie sul proprio territorio o contro un nemico storico, non potendo più aiutare gli altri membri della propria alleanza. Pagare 100 gold per Patti di Mutua Protezione con nazioni impegnate sui propri fronti è oggi più inutile che mai.
Far pochi MPP con gli alleati più fidati è la strada più efficace da percorrere e consente di investire più gold per rinforzare la popolazione e usare i tank al 100% nelle battaglie più importanti.
Dopo il Brasile, anche Turchia, Ungheria e Serbia hanno lasciato Phoenix. La Macedonia seguirà presto lo stesso sentiero.
Eden continua ad esistere ma è probabile che alleanze più piccole ed efficenti nasceranno presto.
L'era delle Grandi Alleanze è finita. Un mondo più egoista ma anche più vivace sta nascendo. Oggi è nato un Nuovo Ordine.

instead of Alliance being based on defence they could be based on economics in the future.

Excellent analysis, I'm not a fan of the updates and tweeks we've seen implemented to the military module.
Its a cycle, alliances come and go...
Well, whatever about alliances, just as long as we're not in one with the uk...
It'll be good to see more money spent on training the army. The defence force might be econicaly sound for once....

More romantic then practical, methinks. Of all of them, only Sweden and finland would be hard hitters, and not strong ones at that. We'd need at least one bigger country.
haha I am proposing a Western European Alliance anyway. A Celtic One would be pretty cool, but naw. Plus it excludes non-Celts in a indirect way
