A New Era for eUS MUs

My friends and foes, the A N O N Y M O U S project has been a wonderful one. We went from about 20 soldiers to nearly 300 in about a week and ended up with over 450 after about a month. We spent a few days during that time as the eUS MU with the most kills per day. We had fun, shared tips, taught new players how to fight, and encouraged old players to still bother fighting. It's been a good run.

But the time for A N O N Y M O U S is over. We will continue to exist, in limited form, for some of those that wish to stick around, but recruiting, communication, and group coordination will cease. I will still set battle orders each morning and during the day, although I will worry less about forgetting to update things at night time and on weekends.

There is one reason and one reason alone for this change: there now exists a better MU for civilians of the eUS. I stated a long time ago that I hoped and encouraged the eUS to create a proper civilian MU. A N O N Y M O U S was never designed to usurp or co-opt the fighting power of the eUS. It was purely meant to fill the void where a void once existed. There is no more void.



The new civilian MU is the eUS Civilian Military Group run by our President, GoalieBCSC. (I suspect) it will be passed down from President to President as time goes on. This gives that MU a MAJOR advantage over other MUs, of both the military and civilian varieties. That advantage is that the account of the Country President is the only account that the admins of eRepublik legally(ish) allow multiple people to log into. The reason for this is that it is too demanding for one single person to be online all day to manage war mechanic timing and execution and other duties of country leaders (like responding to hundreds of PMs).

What this means

What I'm trying to say is: not only will the civilian MU be run by someone (the President) who is virtually online at all times of the day (and therefore can update orders swiftly as needed), it will also be co-run by the people that are granted access to the President's account, meaning there will probably always be someone online able to help command the MU during Euro-time and at times the CP is unavailable.

In a sentence: the eUS Civilian Military Group is best MU for civilians in the eUS. Join it now.

I would have already joined it if I was not currently the commander of A N O N Y M O U S, and I plan to join it after I either sell or hand off my MU.

So please, everyone, join the eUS Civilian Military Group. I expect to see it in the top five rankings of eUS MUs by next Sunday. If it isn't, I will be disappoint. Eventually I will be simply booting people out of A N O N Y M O U S and suggesting they join the eUS official civilian MU. So get out on your own volition.
