A New Dawn
Sander Cohen
Welcome to the inagural Issue. i have been waiting for an appropriate topic and this fits the bill. i wish i could have elaborated more but time has been an issure these past 2 days.
This is not fear mongering, This is reality.
As you are most likely aware the admins have recently announced that 4 new Southeast Asian Nations are to be added on Feb. 11. This poses new issues for thailand that are very serious. The threat of indonesian aggression has just gone up as they may attempt to consolidate power in our area to be ready to take over the new nations when their protection expires.
Also is the fact that Recruiting and maintaining a population has just got much more difficult. We now must attempt to recruit and convince people to stay in a floundering economy with the prospect of a fresh start right next door. This threat is as serious as invasion because without citizens there is no thailand.
The conclusion that is drawn is that we must fix thailand's isues NOW. If not we face invasion or even more disheartening, a second mass exodus far surpassing that of the Brazilian affair.

Fear based news always gets them.
I like the teases where at 3pm they say "something in your backyard may dismember or even kill your child. Find out what it is at 11".
I think it will be 3 new Southeast Asian countries, not 4. Taiwan is in East Asia and will border the Chinese coast which is not that near to us.
But Malaysia, and possibly Singapore too, will definitely border us and be the buffer between us and Indonesia.
It's reasonable to think that a power house like Indonesia will be tempted if there is a new neighbor with low population but HIGH resource regions.
Perhaps it's time for us to make sure that our affairs with Indonesia will be super good when the new eMalaysia is off the protection by admins.
One of two things will happen to the added small countries. If no citizenship requirements are created a foreign power/group will most likely storm in, gain power through the election and steal all the gold.
If any of those countries has a high resource it is a good chance that they will be invaded.
Of course, the wild hair idea is that we take over one and invade ourselves, reset the issues with our economy.
The reality is that recruiting will be tougher as these smaller countries lend towards more people wanting to form their splinter groups. (Not that I can really criticize it)
Is it feasible to consider taking one of them? If it is going to happen anyhow why not let it be us? We have a small but active core. I'd like some more excitement in the land.
Malaysia is coming on 11/02/09? Can't come soon enough. This is excellent news. Tomorrow would be better.
Why? Because it means our southern border is secure for 45 days after the new nation gets founded. Malaysia will be unable to declare war or have war declared on them during this period. After that, it may be an issue, but we'll have 'til the end of March to get things sorted.
Of course, this also could mean that Indonesia is going to try to act precipitously to get "their" share of India before the land route gets cut and/or lengthened.
gentlements...
Thailand from very long time ago has less citizens.. many people from all over the world come and go in your country. But we Indonesian never threat you as a land that need to be occupied, why? because you always trust and nice to us.
So, keep that trust and maintain the good relation ship. We always honor you. but when see a threat, we will eliminate it. So, continue with good relation ship 🙂
N3m0:
Our concern is the PEACE contract promising you Karnataka. The only way for you to claim it without circling the globe is to invade Hat Yai, then invade Tamil Nadu from there, and finally from there march into downtown Bangalore.
If we have eIndonesian assurances that southern Thailand is not going to be invaded so you can annex Karnataka, we'll stop worrying in a heartbeat. We've no intention of threatening you nor do we want anything but friendly relations, but that contract has had us a wee mite nervous ever since it first was posted.
@Guy, take over are wrong! You guys should let other countries do it and dirty themselves, don't make the clean face that Thai has in the international eyes dirty.
Well, a Indonesia take over does indeed sound good, if they give the Hat regia back off course.
