A New Bright and Shiny Congress!

So the Elections are over, and as anyone can see from the results, Congress has many first time members this session, with a healthy sprinkling of Veterans. A small fraction that don't have forum accounts yet, (I've contacted them) will hopefully join us soon, and to top it off, the access to Congress has been granted to those who didn't have it before.

The best part of course, is that the large minority of Congressmen who were loyal to PEACE, have left the building as it were. We've got our Government back!

So, we have set ourselves boldly on the path to reconstruction, almost half the country is back in our sovereign hands and the economy is on the mend. Now this new Congress, myself included, can work hand in hand with our Executive, and our resistance movements to return Canada to it's rightful place in the fraternity of nations in the eWorld.

I would of course be remiss if I did not include a heartfelt expression of gratitude to our many allies who have striven with us, and sacrificed so much to assist Canada's rebirth. I thank you on behalf of Canada and our Congress!

Speaker nominations have already begun, so those of you who are new to congress, and returning Congress members be sure to peruse and perhaps put your name in for the top job of the Legislative Branch. I however will not be running for Speaker again this month. As Party President of the Canadian National Coalition, I cannot run for nomination, I also think after 2 months of faithful service it's time to let someone else have the fun (and occasional headache) that comes with being Speaker.

Congratulations again to all elected Congress members. To those who missed the mark this month I offer my heartfelt condolences, however the next election is only 30 days away so get your campaigns ready.
