A new alliance structure needed!

Day 2,262, 02:42 Published in United Kingdom Indonesia by Brathasena

It’s been quite a while since I have written or even published anything in erepublik. Some time ago I closed down my “old newspaper” and started this new one. And with a name change, most of my subscribers probably wonders who this is and why they even are subscribing to this newspaper. I do hope though that you at least read this article before you decide to unsubscribe, and more and better articles will come in the future..

As you all know, the powerhouse of TWO recently threw in the towel and split up. This creates huge potential for introducing some new fun and excitement into this game. I do believe that the bilateral world we have seen over the last few years in erepublik has been quite boring and destructive for the whole of the game.

Having only 2 sides in our eworld it creates the annoyance of always having to be on one said which makes you automatically against the other, you are easily judged as not being trustworthy only for having the origin or citizenship of “the other side”, which brought with it a lot of ugly trolling and flat out racism. Thought I haven’t all been bad. We’ve seen some truly epic battles between the two sides something I hope we still get to see even if we should get more alliances than 2 giga alliances.

I am therefor living in the hope that this next phase of ehistory will give us a more multilateral world and more excitement. Personally I am hoping for at least 3 semi-equal alliances, and more cross-alliance battles. With enemy and friendly ties going across all alliances I hope we can avoid ending up with 2 against 1 “tactics”. Instead it would be great to have exciting and perhaps unpredictable 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 alliance battles.

I honestly hope that during this time off from alliances more than two giga alliances will grow up. I am hoping for at least 3 semi equal alliances with enemy and friendly ties going cross all alliances. This to avoid any 2 against 1 tactics, but keep it 1 vs. 1 vs. 1, keeping it a bit more unpredictable and exciting perhaps.

In my view I would therefor like to see these 3 alliances forming.
