A million planes.
Euphorbus
Every clip on the wing costs a million. Every dent, another million.
A million hours was spent by the engineer, perfecting the curvature of each wing on paper; every failed attempt to fly the burdened, ambitious load? A million million.
After the millionth hour, the pilot felt in a millionth of a second - gliding through the clouds in slow motion - every spitfire-esque nuance rivalling the experience birds felt, soon dropping the 'million pound payload' onto millions of unsuspecting animals. They would soon feel the burn of a million tailed flame spreading its wings from blade to blade - of grass to grass, and of soldier to soldier.

Have mercy.

Awesome little story on the time and money that goes into making planes. Kinda depressing when you think about the mental struggles a soldier has to go through
