A message to my oldest friend

Καθώς κοιτούσα την λίστα των φίλων μου, ανακάλυψα ότι ο παλιότερος φίλος μου είναι ο Πλάτο. Αποφάσισα λοιπόν να του στείλω ένα μήνυμα. Ακολουθεί το μήνυμα όπως στάλθηκε στους admins.

"Dear Plato,

I was checking my friend list yesterday, and I noticed you are my oldest friend in the game. To be totally honest with you, at first I couldn’t remember when or where I met you. But don’t worry about that, I was probably drunk (or worst) when we met.

Anyway, I started asking around about you, and I found out you are one of the admins of this game. That’s why I decided to write to you regarding some issues about the game.

First of all I liked the changes you made to the game regarding the military unit regiments. It was one of the few changes that actually saved players some money. I like it even more now that you put a common “wall” between the regiments and we can communicate with each other. But there is still a problem. Regiments made after the captaincy elections, are left with no captain and they don’t have orders unless the commander sets them. Ok, I don’t like most of this people either as they come uninvited to my unit, but I still think they deserve a candy bar and a bazooka.

An easy way to fix this is by letting the commander appoint a captain in cases like these.

Please take my note into consideration.

Ps1. I am thinking of proposing you for the e-Nobel peace prize. Your idea of asking people to kill 25 individuals for a candy bar was brilliant.

Ps2. I’m sorry that I never replied to any of your letters, but I didn’t know who you were back then, and I don’t usually talk to strangers. I promise that from now on I will reply to all the letters that you send me.

Ps3. You remind me of a rl person I know. His name is Achilleas Beos. He was also accused of “fixing” matches, but at least he was kind enough to call me and notify me about the results beforehand. Since you are my oldest e-friend, I expect the same from you, if the accusations are correct (not that I believe they are).
