A Message to Australia
Spartan_Hoplite
Dear eAustralians, I am writing this article on behalf all the supressed and occupied eGreeks. Since the invasion and occupation of our country by Turkey in early December we have aimed towards two goals: a) the liberation of Greece or/and b)gain some political standing and position in Turkey.
We were well on our way to gaining political standing until two days ago. Our party, the Greek Liberation Front had finally become one of the top five parties under the guidance of our leader, the last President of Greece, Efthimios Pappas. However, two days ago several high level Turks, led by Modu Shanyu enter our party. Modu is now running for party presidentship with the propose of a political takeover to crush the Greek political aspirations.
Modu Shanyu could be considered an expert at political takeovers having already taken over the former Greek Prosperity Movement. He subsequently renamed it the Greko-Turk Solidarity Party. However, this coalition (if it can be called that) last a few days before the party was once again renamed to the Halki Partisi and faded into oblivion. Now Modu Shanyu is trying to do that again. We Greeks and several friends are trying to stop this political invasion.
I write to you eAustralians hoping you'll have empathy and compasion for us as you were and to a certain extent in a similar position to us. Any help what so ever is greatly appreciated.
Here is an album documenting the attempted take over: http://gs88.photobucket.com/groups/k198/EBIYO04Z6B/.
Any donation to the Hellenic Depository which is the Greek Independence organisation are also warmly and graciously welcomed. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Long Live Australia! Long Live Greece!

So sad. This place is almost as crazy as real life. Best of luck...
I am very new to eRepublik.
Greece and Australia have always had close ties... especially here in Melbourne.
What can we do to help in a real sense?
nm unfortunately, get ne ppl that arent tied down atm to head on over and join the party to vote in the greeks way. but that involves money and wellness 😕 ither that or publically condemn it but that might cause some strife.
Thank you all anyway for your moral support. This wasn't aimed as an advertisment trying to get people to come to Greece. It was meant to inform people who otherwise won't know what is happening. 😃
Im new too. I have lots of greek australian friends. Is that possible to fight for you in a battle, even Im not there? Or I have to get a ticket to you? Im pretty short of money, cuz Im just started...
Cheers.
Just as soon as i work out how to help i will. i have a soft spot for the underdog, having been one my whole life.
Goodluck with your cause and i sincerley hope to be able to assist in the future.
Thank you all for your support and friendly comments.
Thanks for the support to eAustralians, but I current am a beginner at the game and at the moment lack any sort of funds for such a dontation.

Can't touch this!..My-my-my-my (U can't touch this) music hits me so hard
Makes me say,"oh my lord thank you for blessing me
With a mind to rhyme and two hyped feet"
It feels good
When you know you're sown

And I'm known as such
And this is a beat-uh!
