A Message From Your CP: Joining PEACE GC

It might seem like peculiar timing, with the events that are occurring around the globe, but the Philippines has been in talks about membership to PEACE for quite some time. During the political take over carried out by the Sect of Guru Varnish, it became apparent that neutrality was not the way forward. Our "friends" turned their backs on us, simply because we were not part of their super alliance. The congress at the time made the decision, it was time to make new friends, and so PEACE GC was approached.

You may wonder, why PEACE, why not Atlantis? Well primarily, the answer to this would require you to look at a map. Well I don't have a map on me at this moment, so you'll have to take my word for it. We border Indonesia, which is considered by most, to be a powerhouse of PEACE. Joining the wrong alliance could have meant our destruction. But don't believe it was only fear that lead us to the PEACE's doorstep. It was an Atlantis country that terrorised our economy, it was Atlantis nations that refused to help us, and it was the PEACE nations, such as Mexico and Hungary, that offered us their support.

Anyway, it was yesterday that they were supposed to be announcing the new member states of PEACE GC, where our name would have been read out. Only, they haven't. So I will make the announcement to my people myself.

We are now a part of the PEACE Global Community. We have their friendship, we have their protection, and we have their help if we need it. But friendships go two ways, and we will help them if they need it too.

I will now pass on a messgae from the PEACE Media Department, who are trying to raise funds for any up coming battles.

Dear citizens of the Philippines,

I am glad and proud to introduce you a new initiative by PEACE GC. The PEACE Security Council has decided to launch a program aimed at helping its member countries financially. We need to be able to address emergencies swiftly and efficiently but lack of money has often been an obstacle to that. Having a common bank to finance these operations in advance may prove very helpful in the future.

This program will (hopefully) generate much needed gold quickly and help the allied countries in many ways. The participating PEACE nations will be able to use the gold to purchase high quality hospitals, defense systems, weapons, wellness packs, MPPs, etc. This could very well prove to be the key to winning a war, avoiding takeover attempts, or helping a baby-boom.

So how does this fundraising work? Easy. Every newspaper owner listed below donates 5 Gold for every 1,000 subscribers their newspaper gets. They get fun Media Mogul Medals (MMM) and PEACE gets some dough. All you need to do in order to contribute is to subscribe for the newspapers listed below (and don't forget your organizations can also subscribe to newspapers😁.

You may say that it is a burden to click through XX newspapers but in reality it is not that bad at all. This is why I ask you to do it and help us in this effort. We will be coming up with new lists often, so that we can give chance to as many people as possible to participate. Additionally, we need this program to be successful, so that we can keep it going in the future. And who knows? Maybe one day it will be your newspaper that will appear in this list.
