Dear Citizens of the Union, Dear Allies, Dear Others,
Today I write to you in regard to the events of the past few days.
Yes, I know, sadly we lost two battles against the Sov... Seperatists (Italians, Hungarians & Co) who are splitting our Nation.
I am sorry, Austrians, that we couldn't defend our Union against them successfully. It is very sad, but even I predicted that hard times would come. We now face much harder times still, but don't worry, dear Citizens, they can't break our Nation forever! Nobody can break the People of the Union forever, neither IRL nor here in this game!
We are one Nation, and Citizens, can you see it? Their Propaganda is very smiliar to the propaganda from the Soviets, who have previously split our People into Eastern and Western Germany. Believe me: they won't be successful, just as the Soviets IRL! They can't split our People, our Union.
We are one Nation,
with honor,
and pride.
With ONE dream, the Dream of wealth, equality, and liberty!
Let them call me a puppet. I won't deny it. It is true that I am a puppet, and do you know who is my master? The Citizens of the German UNION!
Every Citizen from Coast to Coast,
Every Citizen from House to House,
Every Citizen who works every day,
Every Citizen who fights for the Union,
Every Citizen who dreams the Dream of an United German Nation,
Every Citizen who is Proud to be an Austrian=German.
They all are my Masters, for their sake I bear these insults, for their sake I fight, for their sake I work, to them I commit my eLife!
I have nothing at heart but the interest of our Nation!
And here are some lines directed at our opponents:

Do you ignore the comments to your articles? Everyone knows that I don't comment on your propaganda article; it is the Citizens of our UNION!
C'mon, it is like a bad joke, and nobody laughs expect yourself...
Are you blind to the fact that the only ones approving of your articles and your "facts" are yourself?
Where are the Austrians who are being oppressed? Where? Those same Austrians only comment negatively on your articles! Your OWN articles!
Metallon can't provide even 5 Names, a measly 5 names from 5 Austrians who oppose the Union!
And what I mean by "Austrians" is not pseudo-Austrians like mappina and biasicco. Sorry to both of you, but can you tell me even one Austrian Superstar WITHOUT typing it into Google?
And look, I think you can't even see the difference between the Austrian dialect and the Bavarian dialect of the German language. Yes, they similar, but not similar enough that you would detect a difference...
Tell me one typical Viennese word. C'mon you said you had lived for 4 years in Vienna, so it can't be so hard to name a single word!
I am more Austrian than you really, and why? I have relatives living in Austria -- so what does this mean? It means that I am also part Austrian! Germans and Austrians are essentially the same people. Every German is also an Austrian, and every Austrian is also a German.
Sorry if these words are hard for you to accept. But what did you expect, advertising yourself on the media "hahaha, I am an Austrian, hahaha, I have lived for 4 years in Vienna, hahaha, but I can't speak a single German word, least of all in dialect, hahaha". Say whatever you want but that sounds really silly, sorry.
I digress...
I have one final question: did any PEACE country president read their own charter? I think not... you know that text wall with a thousand rules, guidelines, definitions, and so on...
It is really surprising that half of the Alliance named PEACE (how ironic) just don't follow their own charter...
If you really love a free Austria, then when do you act against the will of most of the Austrians? If you really act in the interest of the Austrian people, give Burgenland back to them.
Show us that you really want a free Austria, show it to the world. If you do this I promise to stop claiming that you are just here out of vengeance. Really, in that case I would believe that your alliance is not all bad.
But I am sure that these words are nothing in your ears!

Don't forget, we are at war. Your decision is a threat for Hungary, Italy and the other PEACE members. Austria is an important country in this war. Everything else is just propaganda.
I never understand why was a better choice Atlantis. There are pros and contras in both sides, but:
-With Atlantis you only lose (all of the austrian regions)
-With PEACE you you could have fully obtain the Austrian regions (even Burgenland)
I hope someone can explain it.

@NanoTech: in the eyes of a normal citizen there was just way too much pressure put on the AGU.
We tried, i include myself humbly, to mediate to PEACE officals(in IRC) but to no avail .. there were talks how to deescalated the situation but i had to learn that nice talk was just small talk on PEACE side.
At a certain point it was just PEACE or else! Well, Atlantis simply offered a lot more security by not threatening the AGU and instead giving us a lot MPPs.

Then they should just admit that and publicly state that this is a preemptive strike, and that it has absolutely nothing to do with PEACE taking an interest in the plight of the Austrians. I think it's this hypocrisy that they are spreading which is making people on the other side of the fence go up the walls.
I was listening for a long time already the German media, there was a lot of propaganda both sides. I can't decide what is the truth, but I think you may not forget what PEACE has done for you in the past and this movement was a big betrayal in the eye's of who has helped you. I didn't think so that PEACE want Germany in Atlantis, but what I heard about your leaders, they were ready for it.
Chicco, yes PEACE is interest with a free, independent country in his borders, but Atlantis is interest too. Atlantis want a country, which can backstab and block the PEACE members. If you lose the austrian regions i hope you will not be disappointed in them.
I try to ignore the propagandas, I hope you can do the same.
I hope you can make this Unio once more, but now you choose the wrong side.

That's quite possible, but why do the Austrian regions have to pay the price for this now?
These RWs do not affect the German regions at all. PEACE will never dare attack one of Germany's original regions. They only dare return the Austrian regions to their pre-Union misery. It was really sh*tty down there before the merger, I can tell you. Extremely low salaries, almost no goods on the market, each election TO fears, treasury looted every 2-3 months. And that is precisely what it is going back to.
You know, I can really see how they feel betrayed. Point is, why do Austrians have to pick up the tab? PEACE is too weak to take revenge on the actual 'perpetrator' so they select a weaker scapegoat. Could they do anything more lame? I hope you agree with me.

Nobody speaks of only a revenge here. Nobody said Germany deserves war. PEACE GC vs ATLANTIS, a country from one alliance vs country of the other has been seen a lot of times and maybe Germany will take part for real of this struggle some day.
The matter of the Austrian territories was discussed long time ago, in the month of February, when Austria was member of PEACE and had announced that considers a fusion with Germany. A country with friendly attitude towards PEACE GC and believed to be a future member or neutral. So when PEACE GC was informed of the fusion and believing that alliance means mutuality (I mark Hungary vs Austria case here, wasn't very pleasant) they asked if some different separation of Austria could be considered. After all Austria was about to be erased of the maps. The interest was mutual, also for Germany which PEACE GC thought as friend. Well, Chicco refused giving some lame excuses and I am sure it was not even discussed with the Austrian government. I guess there were certain interests to be harmed if such division was to be made. Anyway, PEACE GC agreed and asked where Austria-Germany Union will stand regarding alliances - SILENCE. Then event after event, propaganda used for personal interest and words twisted as it suits each side, anger, impatience, no communication.
To end up here - none of the sides has what was its actual wish 🙂
So is not only PEACE vs ATLANTIS nor is only independent Austria is a chain of events 🙂

These words have come before any of the events with Hungary appear, on 2nd of March!!! These words coming from a fellow member who refused to consider making a "protective belt" with 3 regions of Austria given to Hungary after ALL AUSTRIA IS TO BE ERASED FROM THE MAPS for at least 6 months!!!
And PEACE GC respected your decision.
