A letter to all Canadians

Hi to all Canadians,
I've started playing Erepublik again (for the third time I think). And I've seen that Canada is completely wiped out. It also seems that Canada has a very small population compared to that of other nations. What has gone wrong?
It seems like a vicious cycle, that there are less Canadian players, so we keep loosing battles. If the country has no bonuses, people will move to regions of the world that have a bonus. Then we have even less players, and the cycle goes on.
Some, as I've seen in other articles, blame the previous president. But I wasn't here for his term, so I cant criticize any of his decisions.
What must we do?
The problem of under population is as old as the game for Canada. For as long as I've been playing, Canada was a small nation (just like in RL). The solution is simple i believe: great organisation, and unity (also just like in our RL Canadian military).
The battle of Chateauguay
The battle of Chateauguay, in the war of 1812, is a prime example of Canadian unity and organisation. There was a British force, a militia from lower Canada (Québec), and a Mohawk force. They left their differences aside, and fought to protect their homes. Today, we must do the same!
Wait untill the time is right, then strike! We will RW back Canada, and we will be heard again in the E-World.
This is Canada!!!

Canada will be alright, we got wiped by the US this time last year. 🙂
The whole game is losing players. We try to find things for people to do and Plato takes it away.
Agree with Dill, the numbers leaving this game are getting frightening and not many new players stick around anymore. Can you imagine if the admins finally had the balls to ban the multi's and their makers too???
My guess is they make a lot more money off of long time elite players than new players so they cater to that crowd and let the total numbers shrink, which is also keeps elite players happy - big fish in a shrinking pond.

lol I live like 10 minutes or so from the Battle of Chateauguay heritage site.
Also smaller populations is a trend almost gamewide, not just eCanada.

The same way as in real world, Canada needs powerful diplomacy efforts to reach its goal and status. Unfortunately, Canada is considered as a 'landing site' for weak European e-nations.

This is the third time I've played as well so know what you mean. This game has been in decline for a long time but struggles along thanks to those with credit cards.
One way of trying to boost our numbers is by approaching people from other countries. For example I started in Australia and was about to give up when someone suggested I move here.
The big thing you guys have tend to work well together and support each other. Of course you have the odd dill who prefers to sit on the sidelines and complain about present and past Presidents. But these are in the minority and will hopefully one day reach maturity.
I for one would have left ages ago if I hadn't moved here.
