Nemrég tudomásomra jutott, hogy egy lengyel újság az engedélyem nélkül közölte a Birodalmak tündöklése és bukása sorozat első részét, a Pakisztánról szólót - azzal a megjegyzéssel, hogy szerinte a bannolt karakterek cikkei szabadon felhasználhatóak. Ráadásul át is írt benne néhány mondatot, egyfajta Eden propagandaként. Mivel ez nem így van, a cikkek, mint minden szellemi alkotás a szerző tulajdona, azokra a szerzői jog érvényes, függetlenül attól, hogy a szerző virtuális karakterét az adminok bannolták-e vagy bármi más történt vele.

Azaz csakis a szerző (én) engedélyével és változatlan formában közölhetőek ezek a cikkek más újságokban - másként plágiumról van szó.

A little while ago people called to my attention that a Polist newspaper republished the first part of my Glory and Fall of Empires series, about Pakistan - and more than that he changed a few sentences in it, like a little Eden propaganda... and he did it with the notice that a banned character's articles can be freely used - in his opinion. But it is most definitely not true! Articles, like all created material are the property of their creators and copyright protects them. It is totally independent of the author's virtual character, no matter if it was banned, died or anything else happaned to it.

Meaning that these articles can only be re-published if I give permission to it, and only without changes to the text or title - and linking the original articles. Otherwise it is simple stealing.
