A Kína-dilemma vége - End of the China Quandary

A tegnapi területátadásokkal Amerika szinte teljesen kivonult Kínából. E pillanatban Sichuan az egyetlen tartomány, amely még USA-fennhatóság alatt áll, miközben az ország északi részén HelloKitty mellett Belső Mongólia is kezdi felvenni az ősi magyar föld státust, míg Jilint az oroszok tartják megszállva. Eldőlni látszik tehát a kérdés, mit kezd az EDEN Kínával. Ez volt ugyanis az egyetlen igazi stratégiai dilemmájuk az elmúlt időben.

Az ország, nevezzük így: Amerika-barát elnöke ugyanis bármikor, bármilyen területcserét végrehajtott, az USA forrásai pedig bármennyi ilyen, darabonként legalább 50 goldba kerülő akciót lehetővé tettek. Amíg tehát az USA határos Kínával, gyakorlatilag bármelyik kínai tartományt megszerezheti negyed órán belül. Ez indokolja a Kitty körüli ütközőzóna fenntartását.

Amikor azonban Magyarország és Oroszország megszerezte itt a kezdeményezést, érdekes dilemmával szembesült az USA. A két lehetőség ez volt:
1. Kínát felvonulási területként megtartani - ez esetben az EDEN-szövetségesek MPP-kötése nem ajánlott Kínával, hisz az USA-területcserék esetén ugyanúgy aktiválódnak, mint Kyushu után a román, megszüntetve ezzel az USA és fontos szövetségesei közti szerződéseket. Az USA bármikor felvonulhat kínai területen, de a magyar és orosz támadás megállítása szinte lehetetlen lenne ugyanitt.
2. Kínát EDEN MPP-kkel stabilizálni. Ebben az esetben a Kína elleni magyar, orosz (és szerb) támadás lehetlenné válna (mi nyilván nem aktiválnánk ezeket a szövetségeket Kitty miatt), de e szövetségek az USA útját is elzárják Kitty felé.

Az utóbbi napok szerződéskötései nyomán világossá vált, hogy az EDEN a második változatot választotta. Sichuanban és India egy részén ott vannak ugyan (és Kína is megtartotta Uttar Pradesht és Bihart Indiában), de Kína és India (nem teljesen azonos) fontos EDEN MPP-i miatt Kittyt az USA most jó ideig nem tudja támadni, az önálló kínai támadás pedig ehhez kevés.

A kínai fal ilyetén felhúzásával az EDEN igyekszik lezárni az ázsiai harcokat. Az USA pontosan tudja, mikor kell felállni a pókerasztaltól. Szerbia eljutott ugyan Pakisztánba, de az EDEN által védett India vagy Kína felé szinte lehetetlen a továbbhaladás. Az ázsiai vaslelőhelyek közül Karnataka Amerikához került, Liaoning Kínáé, Kitty pedig stabilan a kezünkben van. A világháborúban a stratégiai fontosságú, vasbányákat is érintő frontok közül csak a görög-török aktív, azonban nem valószínű, hogy ez gyorsan Central Greece török fennhatóság alá kerülését jelentené. Európában természetesen van játéktér, de itt a kérdés csak az, hány régiót tud megszállva tartani a,lengyel-spanyol páros. A vasért folyó küzdelemnek az új gazdasági modulig valószínűleg vége - ki akarna ezer goldokat költeni régiókért, amelyek lehet, hogy egy hónap múlva nem érnek majd semmit?

Yesterday, after three region swaps, America almost fully retreated from China. At the moment Sichuan is the only Chinese region under American control. In the north, HelloKitty and Inner Mongolia are held by the Hungarians and Jilin by the Russians. EDEN's China Quandary, their only strategic dilemma of the near past, seems to be over.

China's pro-American president helped anytime swapping regions. The US financial sources allowed all those actions, miminum 50 golds each, to take. While the US has border with China, it is possible to make any Chienese region American-controlled in a quarter of hour. This is the reason of keeping the cordon sanitaire around HelloKitty.

As Hungary and Russia took the initiative here, this raises an interesting quandary for the USA. The two possibilities were:
1. to keep China as a manoeuvring ground - in this case the MPPs between China and the important EDEN powers are unwanted. They would be activated by any advancing region swap - as it was the one with Romania after Kyushu - thus erasing the contracts between America and her important allies. The USA can reach to any Chinese territory anytime but China would be open to Hungarian and Russian attack.
2. to stabilize China by EDEN MPPs. This turns of the possibility of the Hungarian, Russian (and Serbian) attacks but these MPPs effectively close the way of the USA to HelloKitty.

After the MPPs of the last days it is clear that the EDEN has chosen the second option. The USA is still in Sichuan and India (moreover, China holds Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in India) but the (slightly different) EDEN MPPs of China and India blocks the possibility of any attack on Kitty, and a Chinese attack alone would be a too weak attempt.

By building such a Great Wall of China, the EDEN tries to close the Asian fights. The Americans know well, when to raise from the poker table. Serbia got to Pakistan but further advance is almost impossible to the EDEN-protected India and China. Concerning the high iron regions, Karnataka was libera... oops conquered by the USA, Liaoning is Chinese and HelloKitty is strongly held by the Hungarians. In this world war, there is one remaining strategically important front (concerning iron deposits), between Greece and Turkey. Turkish control of Central Greece, however, is not too probable. Of course, there are lot of playgrounds in Europe but the tactical question is just that: how many regions could be held by the Spanish-Polish couple. The fight for iron is probably over until the new Economic Module - who wants to pay thousands of golds for regions, which may be without value in one month?
