A Glimpse Into The CPF Lounge. Part 6

Relaxing in his luxurient chair in the "drop in and have a pint" lounge, Devilcarrier sees his friend Captain Kushskins standing at the doorway. Kushskins is scanning each of the arranged groups of chairs and sofas as if looking for someone. Devilcarrier waves to get his attention.

A moment later, the Captain has carried a fresh pint of CPF Lager over to where Devilcarrier is sitting. "I'm hoping I'm not intruding," he says.

"Of course not Mon ami. Sit down please."

"Has, um. Has Aeriala been in today?"

Devilcarrier brings his mug up to his mouth to mask his smile. "I haven't noticed," he said.

Kushskins positions himself so that he can watch the entrance. "How is the writing going these days," he says.

"I'm doing a little each day. I've started a journal that might become a historical document concerning the early months of V2. How about you?"

"Oh." Kushskins blushes. "Nothing.. um nothing to speak of. A few personal thoughts."

Damienwolf, who had been sitting alone, stands and comes over to them. "Hi Captain Kushskins. Welcome back to the lounge. You must like the beer here."

"It certainly is good," Kushskins says with a small smile.

"Am I breaking into a private conversation here?"

"No, not at all Damienwolf," says Devilcarrier. "Please join us."

"Kushskins," says Devilcarrier, &quot😉amienwolf is a hard worker behind the scenes for the CPF party. It's through his efforts and those like him that this lounge, free beer and all, is possible.

"Say, Damienwolf", Devilcarrier continues mischievously, "Have you seen Aeriala recently?"

"Yep." She was in the Party chat room discussing some of her leadership ideas with the Magician."
"Magician?"

"Jbdivinus."

There is a brief silence.

&quot😉oes she..." Kushskins stammered. &quot😉oes she spend time with Wes_Lewis? I saw them at the bar yesterday."

"Heh, not too much love there Kushskins," Damienwolf says. Then, without noticing how Kushskins seemed to relax when he heard this, Damienwolf goes on to say, "She has time more for the Magician."
