Join the new world

With one foot drawn up underneath her, Sister Linda sits watching the people in the "drop in and have a pint lounge". She is sipping tea and she is wearing a "I Voted For Addy" button. Her eyes catch two or three people wearing the same bright yellow buttons.

She watches the young men mostly. She thinks she can pretty well tell which of them are Praetors from the confident yet somewhat weary way they walk.

Homeless Joe is a good example, she thinks as she sees him moving to the bar. So is Devilcarrier, who, speak of the devil, had just appeared in the doorway with that Lise Stubbings. Linda sees he has an "I Voted For Addy" button on his flak jacket but Lise doesn't. Did that mean she didn't vote for Addy or just hadn't voted yet? Linda wonders.

She watches Devilcarrier and Stubbings go over to the bar too, where Damienwolf greets them with the news, "I hear Jb is running for President of DAL"

After getting some coffee, they all come over to sit with Linda. "Well," says Damienwolf , What about that resistance war in Vestlandet, we haven't got any orders on it yet have we?" Stubbings laughs and says "I almost attacked TemujinBC!"

Damienwolf says, "At one point he was about the only one running around defending. I guess we're giving it back to Norway."

Linda just listens and watches Damienwolf. She likes to watch cute guys.
