A Glimpse Into The CPF Lounge. Part 10

Coming in from a warm afternoon, Devilcarrier draws himself a pint of his favourite happy juice, CPF Lager and James McNamarra, the famous "Penguin" comes up behind him.

"Would you get one for me too please, 'carrier," he says, "and I'd like to go over some ideas for my party presidential campaign with you."

"Sure thing James. Let's sit over here."

"I knew you'd want to settle in your favourite chair."

"If we move to different forums, I'm taking this chair with me," Devilcarrier chuckles, fondly running his hand over the smooth, rich leather upholstery.

"Donno if we're moving," James said. "Aeriala's busy right now making changes here."

"Yeah. She's getting the hang of the system she told me. I'd kinda like to keep on here myself. It feels safer to me."

"Devilcarrier, you know I've been working on my party president platform."

"Yes. You told me you wanted to strengthen the party's finances."

"That's one of the things, Yes."

"From a Praetor's point of view, I could see that as being very good for us. I think that if the party had resources to buy each fighter a health package for every fight, it would be the most cost-effective way to strengthen us."

"I'm also going to work on security."

"Great. How will you do it?"

"I can't tell you the details." The Penguin grinned. "Can't release security information."

"I understand. Just keep me and the party safe. That's all I need to make me happy."

Wes_Lewis walks by without seeming to notice them. He is chatting with a cute pixie-like girl.

"Who's Wes with?" James asks.

"She's one of our members. She calls herself Sister Linda, but she doesn't look like a nun to me."

"The way Wes is chatting her up, I bet he's trying to recruit her to join his party."

"Might be. I hope he can't do it. I don't blame Wes for trying though."
