A Fighting guide: For people with a real life.

Day 1,591, 09:49 Published in USA USA by Aren Perry

Let’s face it. Most of us have lives. Most of the really important players don’t have lives outside this game, but for the grand majority of us, we have other things that prohibit us from being on here 24/7 and make playing the ‘ideal’ game unreasonable on a daily basis.

Not only this, but ONE is on the rise again, and they aren’t laying down as easily. We need to maximize the effect of our damage.

This guide is for the most of us, the ones who are the backbones of the populace fighting force. Here are a few quick tips, and them some more specific guides to fighting with the realities of every day life for us working people.

........................Quick Overall tips..................

Quick Tip #1: Fight where your MU tells you to as top priority.

Even if the mission isn’t the reward mission, do it. If you’re like me, you might get 50 kills a day. Some of you I’m sure get less. I have to login three different times during the day in order to get around 50 kills.

While you might not get that one bazooka and candy bar, and getting those are both not only useful to yourself, but also useful to ‘our’ overall damage, damage placed in key locations is more important than damage placed in a battle already won or completely lost.

Quick Tip #2: Always use weapons.

They are so cheap now that currency is practically worth nothing. Get them from your MU firstly, or buy them off of the market. But nothing could be more important than using a weapon in a battle. For younger players, this may not be ALWAYS possible, but do as best you can.

Also check out irc channels for important battles, they usually give out weapons if you meet a certain strength threshold (usually 4k).

Quick tip #3: HOW to use Bazookas.

There are two ways that bazookas and candy bars should be used.

The first way is to save them up and wait for an opportunity for either a BH medal or even more, like a CH medal. This is a good idea, and I generally follow this idea as a rule. So far, my one big attempt for a CH failed by about 2k, after putting in over 3 million damage. fml, anyways....

The second way, and one that I find to be a very honorable use, for which I will humbly state by my own example. While I save up bazookas for a BH or CH, sometimes I see a pitched and important battle (say, one for France like I did) and it’s coming down to the line-be a patriot and take those stocked candy bars and bazookas and give the enemy hell.

My 1.5 million damage didn’t get close to earning me a BH or a CH that day, but it did help barely turn the tide and help France pwn Serbia. Let’s face it, being a patriot and helping an ally during an essential battle is more important than personal status or a shiny medal on my profile screen, or even 5 gold.

But I want to get more practical than this, by talking about the daily life realities, and how to best handle them.

................Daily Life Realities For Fighting.............

Here’s what happens:

You get on erep, work/train in your companies and for your boss, and for me, and this costs me a total of 160 health. I personally get 550 health, so of the remaining health, we all end up fighting.

In general, HOW/WHERE should I fight???

Avoid battles, even the reward mission battle, if we are losing terribly, or winning terrifically.

You must understand, the BEST way to win a mini-battle, is by closely winning it. If ‘we’ win by a large margin-that means we wasted damage. Don’t waste your damage on a battle already won.

DON’T waste damage on a battle where it’s an hour into the battle and we are any lower than 44%. For most common players, you ain’t gonna put enough into that b*t*h to win her over, and probably not even a concerted act of many will do so.

Doing either of these is chucking your damage into the damage landfill.

Chuck it into the damage landfill!

So what do I do if the reward battle, or the MU ordered battle, are either being totally won, or totally lost, and I NEED TO FIGHT NOW because real life is real life?

If you can’t get on in an hour or two later

Find a battle for one of our allies that can use help. Pick a battle that is on the line and needs some damage to pad it. The ratio of damage should be between 46% and 54%. There are plenty of battles going on for allies so this shouldn’t be hard to do. If the battle is close to being over, only fight in it if the percentage bar is between 48% and 52%.

If you can get on in an hour or two, but you are at full health

Fight a little (again, preferably in a battle that needs help) so you’re not sitting there on a full health meter and let it recharge. Fight enough that you’ll be sure that next time you can login you will not have reached ‘full’ health recharge or just barely reached full health recharge.

Be generous with your estimation-better to fight now somewhere than to waste damage potential for the day. If you can get on in an hour or two but aren’t at full health. Just wait.

......................Why this is so important..........

These tips aren't rocket science. But they are important.

By ensuring that you place your damage in a needed area, you help ensure world-wide that our allies are victorious. All it takes is a little conscious effort after you click on the reward mission battle button or check MU orders to make sure that the battle you are about to fight in actually needs help.

I will unfortunately admit, sometimes I get lazy and fight where damage isn’t needed because it will get me closer to those 25 kills. Working towards getting those 25 kills is a good idea, but not as good as putting damage where it’s needed.

It's time to start fighting smart, for the real life guy.
