A few words about fairness and honesty
Semper5
Have you ever bought products from your own company? I believe every company manager do it occasionally. It didn't happened once that I saw a market offer at extremely low price. I always knew it's somebody transferring products from a company to his/hers personal profile for a personal usage. And I never even tried to buy such offer. Simply because it wouldn't be right. It would be like stealing from him/her. It's just not right.
About a half an hour ago I also tried to transfer several pieces of weapon from my company. And it wasn't even intended for my personal use. I wanted to borrow it to a friend of mine so he can finish the True Patriot mission. But someone grabbed it from the market before I bought it.
Well, whoever it was, he/she didn't do anything illegal. But it was unfair to do it. So, whoever that was, I want to tell him that he's no better then any ordinary thief.
If we steal from each other, how can we trust each other? As a nation, as a friends or brother in arms at the field. Can we trust each other? And can we build a better Canada, a better society if we steal from each other and we can't trust each other?
I certainly won't go bankrupt because of several pieces of weapon. But right now I'm very disappointed in this society.
And for the end, I hope you'll shoot yourself in a leg with it, whoever you are.

put ut at market price and then just put it back in your pocket rhrough the MM
rule of thumb money you want times 19
22 CAD 1 gold =2200
100CAD=10000 for 1g
etc
that solves the problem
imo, it's a choice,
Between paying VAT to the gov for security, or doing transfer in a non secure way to skip the VAT.
it's your choice.
tried this when I was e-youngster. pretty much the same story. and I'm pretty much sure that there are/were scripts for these kind of things, cause the offers I've put were gone in milliseconds ...
"And for the end, I hope you'll shoot yourself in a leg with it, whoever you are."
nice touch : D
You have set the bar way to high, way to high.
I tried to put gold on in the money market 4 or 5 days ago and wasn't paying attention and put it on for WAY less than market value. The 14 gold I put on the MM end up selling for something like 20 cents total.
I didn't cry and a complain. I just ate the lose and took it on the chin.
If you weren't trying to screw the government out of tax money (I wasn't even doing that, I just wanted the CAD) this wouldn't of happened.
Sometimes when you roll the dice it comes up craps.
There are scripts ou there. However they focus on the monetary market.
I guess you could consider VAT insurance against theft 🙂
Lol @ Crisfire
It's not about VAT at all. I always pay it because I'm aware that only economically strong and stable state can offer a stable environment for doing business.
But friend asked me to borrow him 10 pieces of weapon for the mission and I didn't have enough money to buy it at the market price because I just bought 2 more companies.
So, once again, it's not about VAT. It was about the price w/o VAT. It wasn't about 1.5 CAD of VAT, it's negligible. But it was about 30 CAD of price w/o VAT that I didn't have.
I don't really see the point of screwing the government for VAT. A financial turnover of my companies amounted to over a thousand of CAD daily. Muglack, do you really think that paying VAT is a problem to me?
The point here is something else - suppose you find a wallet that somebody had accidentally dropped. The question here is what would you do? Would you give it to it's owner or you would keep the money you find inside of it, no matter that you're aware it's not yours. That's the essential point of this article.
I never put the cheapest offer when I want to buy products of my companies. The benefit is twofold, the first, I will take it without wondering, and the second, I pay a fair tax.
The best are the ones who put the price of raw material 0.01 of any currency and wonder how someone bought it.
Put the normal price, buy, and money can be transferred by using the monetary market later.
These things I have learned from my own mistakes. : )
Yes, I usually do that way, but this was emergency and I didn't have enough money on my account because I bought 2 more companies that day. And as I said, it wasn't for me, Susjed asked me to borrow him so he can finish the True Patriot mission.
So that's it. You want to help somebody and end up screwed. 😛
what Chucky said
BeDva, once again, it has nothing to do with VAT. Not to pay VAT wasn't my intention. Btw, VAT was payed. You can't sell/buy a product without paying VAT. It's just not possible. When a company manager defines his price (net), VAT is automatically added making a final (gross) price. Thus, it's impossible to avoid paying VAT.
It happens to all of us - I did something similar to Muglack a while ago when I was rolling a chunk of gold over in the monetary market - I sold a chunk of gold for $0.018 each confusing it for when I was selling CAD$ @ 0.018/g - it disappeared before I could even check to see if I just did what I thought I did - I feel your pain bro, but that's elife - I'd guess the guy on the other side doesn't think he's stealing, he thinks he won the lottery

Anyone in this game can buy from the Canadian market. It doesn't mean it was one of us.
At any rate, you are a fool to be making moralistic judgements when the game already has it's own rules. Until they make it so that you can get products out of a company without going to the market, that's just what you are going to have to do, so stop whining about it, and just place it for market value or more if you want to get all of your products. Everyone is in the same boat.

Next time you're short on cash, pull some money out of one of your companies (they sound profitable anyhow), pay the income tax, then pay the VAT, and you'll never feel ripped off again...(except for paying two taxes, which as you say, does not bother you anyhow). Easy as pie.
No one stole from you. Learn how to use the Monetary Market or pay taxes.
i like raw offers .01 : ))
makes my companies profitable.
I understand that we all make mistakes, but as a person looking at the market, I can't differentiate the "good" people who are attempting low price transfers in order to accomplish some noble goal which they don't have the cash to do from "bad" ones who are just trying to avoid paying taxes.
When I see a low-level transfer taking place, I don't hesitate (you dare not) to grab it. Hasn't happened for a long time, but if I saw one tomorrow, I would still grab it.
That's the risk for saving VAT. It's everyone's job to decide if it's worth the risk or not.
It's funny to call VAT "insurance against theft" when you realize that the "insurance money" just goes into a pot for the next thief-du-jour to scoop up.
Ironing. Delicious.
Everyone of you are right. I said in the article that whoever bought it hasn't done anything illegel or against the rules. It's absolutely legal to buy what's on the market. And yes, it's my fault making it cheap.
I'm talking about something else. I'm talking about how to act in a situation where something is offered, but it's offered in a manner that there is no doubt it is intended for someone specifically.
Shall we take it because we are in opportunity to take it or shell we abstain, because we know it's not for us?
I've been in such situation more then few times. And I never even tried to grab it Because I knew it's not for me. It wasn't offered to me (or anybody else).
Regarding collecting money from company in order to buy it at some regular price - I would have do it, but as I already said - I had no more money that day. I just have bought two additional companies and had no more money left, except a cash reserve for paying wages.
Did I finally made myself clear? It's not about VAT, it's not about any kind of taxes. Jesus, seems to me that you all are making self-projections towards me. I don't even think about voiding taxes. Never. But obviously you guys are. Because you keeps talking and talking only about paying taxes and voiding paying it.
Let me repeat once again - there is no such thing as voiding paying VAT. Its to game mechanism don't let anyone to void paying VAT. There's no such thing.
