OBJECTIVE: Grant eScotland it's recognition as a sovereign e-country in eRepublik.



WHAT?: The UK is a union of countries. Scotland has its own Scottish Parliament and military. This is not a case for all countries within the UK to become sovereign, only Scotland.



WHY SHOULD SCOTLAND BE INDEPENDENT?: To bring a developed technological society with a fair computer base into the New World. This would lower a significant number of "UK" citizen's base, but with Scotland independent more Scottish players may move or live in Scotland to work, train, fight, capitalize!

The UK has many regions, would taking off ONE measly region to the north really hurt them? Population wise, very minor. Plus Scotland could be split up into 3-5 regions as well thus offering more resources in Northern Europe.



COMMON MISCONCEPTION
Well then we might as well make the confederate states of America then! They sort of want to secede! -- Well, logically incorrect imperialist, Scotland still exists as a country entity (as well as having control of its laws and police). The Confederate States of America is a historical nation. It no longer exists nor has any actual political power whatsoever. The SNP administration of Scotland actually has political might.



NEW OPPORTUNITIES
New shores and ports will be open to the New World, bringing in a new culture, community, base, and some more diverse nationalities. This will offer new regions to be defended bravely and taken over gallantly. This will create an economic disaster or a future gold mine. What eScotland is...is a new land of opportunity. It is the New World...of the New World!






I cannot express more emphasis that this is strictly for the creation of the eScottish nation. I, MikeBane, have taken head of the Free Scotland Campaign. Our goal is to get eScotland on the map before the end of January 2012! If Kosovo can has its identity, why can't Scotland?
