A Brief Update (The Gift Exchange)

The USA Welcoming Committee will all be used for all handouts and advice/help.
The USA Gift Exchange will be used only for gift exchanges (Regiftings)

There's a lot going on, but I dont really have time to go into it. Expect an article sometime later this week (or even the weekend) outlining some major changes.

In the meantime, I wanted to introduce one change that has been enacted already. As many of you know, the USA Welcoming Committee participates in gift exchanges for citizens who do not have an org to do it themselves.

As we've gotten busier with our other lines of work, It's become apparent that having a separate organization for gift exchanges could do us a lot of good, and help keep things organized.

Say hello to the USA Gift Exchange

Feel free to donate your gifts to them and expect them regifted as soon as possible by the same team that runs the USA Welcoming Committee.

Remember, when sending gifts to be regifted, it is always best ot send a PM stating how many you send and of what quality, so that they are not lost in the shuffle. An example PM would be

"Hello, I have donated 4 Q1 gifts to you with intentions of having them re-gifted to me at your earlier convenience. Thank you, newbie".

Okay, maybe not so formal, but you get the idea 😃

So from here on out, please use that organization for gift exchanges!

EDIT: This organization will continue to be used for all other functions (wellness boosts, MTs, guidance, etc). Please do not PM the Gift Exchange for anything besides gift exchanges.
