A brief apology to SDP members

Before logging out for the day, I wish to express my apologies to SDP members that have to see this sad show being drawn into the public eye.
If I had the opertunity to discuss these matters in private, that would be the case.
For those that know me well enough, I'm not concerned by what opinion the general public have of me. If this had been the case, there would have never been an SDP.
I'm doing what I think is right, not what I think is popular. Yet again, for those that know me I stand by my values.
Even if the companies won't work with the party cabinet, I will not default on the promisses I made. To whom I promissed healthcare will recieve healthcare. To those who need tickets will recieve tickets...
For those who know me as party president, I have always delivered far more than I promissed.
Somehow, and that is who I am, I will stand by my values. I will always keep my word, express my mind and do what I said I would do.
However, there has been some abuse. For example, the SSTU companies provided free tickets to Congress candidates in exchange for some donation to the party organization in return for this free service. Not 0.01 Gold has been paid.
I stand by my promiss to stand by my friends, my real friends, not those that have clearly abused of this friendship.
Rory Winterbourne did wrong Eric Ross in the Party Presidential election, Congress candidates that have won never kept their word, free speech on the forums has been denied... And all this won't be tolerated on my behalf. I will stand by my friend Eric Ross, even if he is UKRP.
Even if this does earn false friends to turn their back on me, notably Winterbourne and Kirk, it is a price I am willing to pay.
Even if this means getting insulted and isolated, it is a price I am willing to pay to stand beside the word I gave anybody and especially my friends.
If I have to be agressed, torutured and humiliated by one or two upstart pseudo-SDP members, it is a price I am willing to pay.
Why ? Because for an individual, nothing reflects more the value of your heart and soul than the value of the word given to anybody.
So go on and insult me, hate me, call me mad... for I don't care. At the end of the day, when the dust settles, I know who I am.
I am Melophore, never defaulting on my word, standing by those that deserve it. I'm not counting the number of gifts, weapons, cheap housing, hours spent mailing... People don't owe me anything.
If the truth be known, I owe them the efforts I put in for my brothers and sisters through out this counrty and beyond. I'm not sectarian, and have tired my best to help foreigners as well.
If standing by my word is political suicide, maybe there isn't anything wrong with me, but something wrong with politics...

Despite our differences, Melophore, you were an extremely successful PP of the SDP; it is disappointing that a few people seem to be set in denying you the rightful place you justly deserve.

The idea that the party denies free speech is laughable, considering Melophore bawled at everyone who disagreed with his view. In Melophore's opinion, 'free speech' just means his free speech.

On the contrary, 2 of the SDP's 4 winning candidates (Artela and Eric Ross) were given awards for how they did, and all the SDP MPs were praised.

Anyway I support the current PPship of SDP. I hope that the month will get better. And we can get on now!
I've known KaisKais for a while. He's always been an honourable and friendly citizen. I do not recognise him in this grotesque portrait Melophore has drawn of him.
I have also never seen a less than friendly word from Lonkirk.
This contrasts unfavourably with an individual who has attacked these citizens in three articles today.

It is sad that when members of a party who support its current democratically elected leader get abused by a previous PP who they also supported at that time. Very sad indeed to be subjected to such vitriol for not putting the wishes of one person (an ex-PP) above the wishes of the active membership of the party. Extremely sad also to be accused of untrue things by someone who should know only too well what it is like to be accused of untrue things in the past themselves. I am left only with sadness and pity that you feel you need to continue to attack people like this 🙁

Day 950, 13:50 I am confused it can't be the same Rory Winterbourne that I know He is totally unrecognizable from the view of him in this article.I find him to be a honourable person I count myself lucky to have served with him and count him as a close friend.
benni, your view of rory is the right one. It's just Melophore who has this view.
Strange how people's loyalty suddenly change... I remember paying all of Artela's moving tickets to get into congress, and hinding her a lot of voters...

Well, I exposed Rory on the IRC because of his "campaign", when I said I was running for PP things got worse...
Truefact, Rory was in charge of do the mailing in Eric Ross's PP campaign, instead of sending out Ross's message he asked people to vote for him. Very dishonest if you ask me !

Firstly, any proof?
Secondly, why would Spectrum members vote for Rory, I don't think they would have known him before the election. If anything, they'd have voted for me as an old RFAer.
