5,7 Millionen Probleme

Hello everybody,
hope you had some nice holiday.
Unfortunatly we have a little Problem here. Denmark is now one of the richest countries in the eWorld. Sadly, the Danes can't make use of it, since their country is infiltrated by PTOers.
Now the Problem for us is, that we have agreed to keep eDenmark from being TOed in exchange for the ressources of danish Coreregions. But such a huge pile of money attracts a lot of groups who have a different understanding of property.
Now what that means for us, we just saw when the Lazokrats tried to get hold of that money. It meant a huge amount of ressources spend for defending Nordjylland while we needed that damage much more in our war against Lithuania.
So what are we going to do? I've thought of some ways of how to deal with this problem:
1) We just carry on like now.
That means every month we're going to have an attack by one or more TO-Group, which we are going to lose sooner or later, since our ressources aren't limitless. But it will cost the TOers a lot too.

(I know what Germs means. Just a little insider from the early days 😉

2) We TO Denmark by ourselfs, take the money and share it with the Danes
Sorry, but I don't think this is possible. At least not with legal ways. The only way to get new citizens into Denmark right know, is by creating one. But since we all got already a citizen this is forbidden for us by eRepublik law. I leave it to you how the TOers are getting their hold on the citizenship 😉

3) We sell the TO and share the profit with the danes
We demand a certain sum of money from the TO-Groups (in advance of course). In return we won't fight in the Resistance War, which means, that the Toers won't have to spend so much ressources for freeing a danish Region and so will still make a profit if they pay us.
And I don't think, that they would stay in Denmark after they've plundered the treasury. Since the money-issueing is useless at this exchangerate for gold, I don't believe it's economical to keep such a small country under control.

4) We burn the money with Airstrikes
As far as I understand it, the rules for an Airstrike are comparable to that of the NE. So the President should be able to start an Airstrike on his own. So we could burn 1,25 Million every 14 Days. The Food needed is quite a small price compared to the Money we need to defend the danish cores. Of course we need a free danish region for that, but as long as the elections are far away, it should be quite save. But I guess that expands the timespan for Airstrikes to 30 Days. And we have to defend Denmark until the money is burned down.

P.S.:
Why do I write draw for the Danes when they lose the money? Because actually nothing changes for them. Right now they can't use the money and they have no country of their own, which will stil be true in the scenarios 1 and 4.

and which TO group is supposed to be stupid enough to pay us a fair share in advance? and why should we - in fact and in their eyes - stick to the agreement considering that they get the money using multies?
you're certainly not suggesting we let them free the region first and let them pay afterwards.
Well, if they pay 2 Million in advance, that should not be a problem: Germany stands to its words and just stands aside. I believe that we will have that credibility - tit for tat.
On the other hand, Denmark actually loses in that scenario, except that they MIGHT get rid of the TO groups afterwards. So, why should Denmark trust us after we sell them out?
The airstrike option, just to waste all the precious money for nothing... sounds like waste, but if the other three ways are not gonna succeed, we should consider it.

Because Germany stands to its word. Or why do you think we spend so much money on defending Denmark? We have enough power to keep Denmark occupied against their will. And it wouldn't reduce our Boni if we let the TOers take a region.
Also it would be quite cheaper for the TOers.

No denmark doesn't lose. Sorry but they will never be able to use that money in the near future. and in the far future it will be lost to a TO-Group. And they can trust us for the same reason I just wrote to Quenitn. In my Opinion they can have the whole money. Because Germany will save a lot if we don't have to permanently waste ressourses in RWs
Another possibility: Instead of inviting new players and tell them to become German we could encourage them to become Danes, so we have a bit of control how the congress is composed.
After that we can give Danes back their citizenships to strengthen their country.

Sorry, but the 4 to 5 new real Danes per Month won't do a difference. And don't come with a babyboom. The chance for that is close to zero but from the negative side.
yes either
a ) make a danish babybooms
or
b ) let the PTOers pay 2million for the 5.7 danes-millions in advance (and when they paid and freed a region the danish president will burn a million and some through airstrike so the PTOers in fact just get like 2.5million [5.7 - 2 - airstrike], then he will kill all the newborn... er... newbies and burn all fields down [=burn them PTOers down / the survivors will starve to death in winter]
this way the PTOers get as less money as possible while we get some money [it's then nearly half the money] and the danish president can satisfy his bloodthirst and finally try out if he has a thing for arson)
I don't think it's smart to discuss this kind of topic publicly. also it's not a decision we should make. it's up to the danish to decide what's a gain or loss for them. it's their money after all ...

If the Danish decide that they feel best with us trying to protect that money, we can't go ahead and sell it to PTO groups. But there will be failure somewhere along the road.
