400 Days of EDEN

Day 1,077, 08:49 Published in Romania Greece by Greek Ministry of Health

It was the year of fire... the year of destruction... the year we took back what was ours. It was the year of rebirth... the year of great sadness... the year of pain... and the year of joy. It was a new age. It was the end of history. It was the year everything changed. The day is 677. The name of the alliance: EDEN.

The creation of EDEN
Very few of those who still play know the full tale of how EDEN started out. In the beginning, after ATLANTIS fell, EDEN was no alliance at all. It was just a bunch of countries that had a need to work together and aid each other, especially after PEACE GC invaded North America. During that time EDEN formed and its founding principles were created, and even today, EDEN follows more or less the same set of ideals as it did back then. It was argued does EDEN even need a treaty at all, as it functioned just well without any written document, but it was thought that a write-up of procedures would help remind people of the Brotherhood's ideals. Mostly written up by Mistwalker, the final version of the EDEN treaty finally finished in late September 2009, and on Day 677 it was signed by all the founding member countries of EDEN. On that day, all those countries who signed the document, acknowledged that they all belong to a community that shares common interests.

Still going strong!
400 days later, EDEN still exists, stronger than ever before. What started out as a fledging alliance fighting for its existence, is now setting a path for the World as its strongest alliance. To celebrate the 400th day of EDEN's existence, we here in EDEN media team have prepared a series of interviews and and historical overviews about people and events that have been important to EDEN's existence. EDEN has had its days of glory, and days of demotion. In the following articles, we will be hearing the views of people who run the alliance, and how they regard the existence of EDEN at its heights and descents.
