2nd Term Wrap up Update

Day 700, 14:58 Published in USA USA by Evan Feinman

Worl😛

eMerica is riding a rising tide. We've gotten almost all of our territory back, though we've reached an uneasy stalemate with Hungary; we don't seem to be able to take them one on one, and they can't risk activating our or Canada's MPPs by launching an offensive. As a Senator and newly minted Home Guard Officer, I weigh in on military strategy when it comes before me, but mostly I just salute and follow the (brilliant) orders of our military leadership. Here's what else has been going on:

Funding our military and domestic programs:

I voted in favor of daily bills that moved money from our vulnerable national treasuries to the CBO and military. This is critical both to keep our currency stable and to make sure we have the financial flexibility to respond militarily at the drop of a hat. I also supported the recent, slight, increase in food taxes. We've got some of the lowest food prices in the eWorld, the additional revenues will allow our government to pursue even more ambitious programs and military pursuits, including wider-scale distribution of weapons, as we saw during our recent offensives in occupied Canada.

Supporting our allies:

I voted in favor of President Gaius’ Mutual Protection Pacts with Israel, Spain, Bosnia, Poland, and Romania. Our allies are the best in the world, and renewing our MPPs keeps us all strong and secure.

Strengthening Our Defenses:

I supported the construction of a new Q5 defense system in California. As I’ve consistently stated in Reasoned Discourse, if we’re going to prevent another full-scale invasion we need to rethink how we distributed our defensive infrastructure. That means a reasoned and forward thinking fortress strategy.

War Games:

I supported our involvement in the Malasian war games. While Hungary is also in on them, without war games or an active war our economy suffers and our noobs can't gain wellness. I am in favor of continuous war games whenever we are not engaged in open hostilities for the foreseeable future.

What's next:

We're taking a global view, supporting independence movements all over the world, weakening PEACE where we can. Further, we're looking into ways to stabilize our economy. Believe me, falling wages and prices are a major topic of concern in Congress and improving our economy is something we work on every day.

Additionally, I will be running for re-election here in VA. Look for my platform in the next day or so, though little has changed from my previous platform, so consider that a preview 😉

That’s it for now. As always, PM me or my Chief of Staff, Willisen, with any input about what you’d like to see happen in Congress, though he'll only be in the office for a little while longer since Willisen is running for Congress down in Mississippi; he'll make one hell of a Senator.
