Hello fellow citizens of the eWorld. In this article our guest columnists Bogi, Lord Doel and Sebastian Vettell analyzed how the new alliances affected Asteria, Pacifica and the eWorld from different points of perspective. As you know they took part in the diplomacy of the alliances and they are well known people in their countries but also in the whole eWorld. I have asked them the following question; "As you know Adriatica has been formed this year and later Argentina and Brazil left Asteria to join with former allies to a new alliance. There were attempts to join all four of them to Pacifica but it was not possible because Poland and Hungary veteod Turkey to join Pacifica. Later they formed Syndicate and they announced a coalition with Adriatica. How all these changes affected the e-world diplomacy and what mistakes have been made on both Asteria and Syndicate-Adriatica sides?" Let's see what they think about the recent things in the last 4-5 months.

I would probably be a bit biased on this one since I was directly involved in some of the activities there, so I would rather let others judge Asteria and I will comment on what was going on elsewhere. Basically, Syndicate proposed to Pacifica to drop Asteria in exchange for Adriatica and Turkey. Doing that would make Pacifica a possible target, while currently they are pretty much impossible to attack. Obviously there was no gain for them there, so such change didn't take place.

Soon after that idea failed, Syndicate was created by three former Asteria–Pacifica members with the addition of Turkey, an alliance with the possibility to cooperate with both Pacifica and Adriatica. Syndicate asked Adriatica to drop Nexus, and by the looks of it, external requests are more easily accepted in Adriatica. This left Syndicate as their only option for cooperation and drew a bull's-eye on their forehead. Overall Adriatica's policy is too submissive to Syndicate and I don't see any chance for them to improve until that changes.

The change was a loss of damage for the new alliance Syndicate. As they dont share the same goals, priorities and objectives than Adriatica... It has been pointless to create that alliance. Going further, Adriatica lost Spain, Bulgaria and Macedonia in the deal, which in my opinion is quite a big deal without earning anything. But on the other hand, Serbia and Asteria have earned a "buffer" in the south against Greece and even Turkey so they now can freely focus on deleting and keep deleted Croatia.

To summarize nothing has been earned by Syndicate or Adriatica and they suffered quite heavy losses, even if they combine both alliances and start sharing a same goal, the fact that they kicked Bulgaria and Macedonia from the Chile-Venezuela-Mexico-Ireland (lesser allies but relevant) just made them lose any chance of recovering any soon if we do not see any new movement... Which could happen only if Hungary or Poland move. Will they? I do not think they have any reason to move now. Serbia keeps Hungary happy, Poland has bonuses. Asteria is good as long as Bulgaria-Macedonia keep Greece busy.

Despite these changes we are in the same situation that we were few months ago, majority of power Is still in Asteria’s hands. Did they make any mistakes? Absolutely not, every move was beyond perfect, hats off, hands down… They have got their new allies and they are using them efficiently and perfectly. For example: Bulgaria, Fyrom & Spain are spending loads of resources to fight us, so both sides are draining each other while Romanians and Serbians sit in their comfortable chairs watching the show. Beautiful.

As for Pacifica, they’ve got power enough to withstand Asteria on their own not to mention the changing the balance, but so far USA & Latvia are the only countries who have made at least some kind of effort (Latvia had no choice). Question is, how long it is going to continue? How long are they going to sit pretend that everything is fine? Will there be any changes there? If you ask me, there will not be, Hungary & Poland do not want to fight Asteria, maybe they are afraid or maybe they just love Serbians too much, who knows, but current situation proves the point, that Duo do not want to go against Asteria.

As for our mistakes, I guess poor coordination was a mistake, especially after resource wars, we did not realize what kind of effect would summer have on us. Whatever jokes there might be about our vacations it is a fact, yes maybe others have the same issues but I am saying what I know for sure because I have no idea whether Asteria is experiencing same problem or not. look at the situation, ZNG & GAMA our strongest units are off, they do fight but they are not that effective when they are active, Brazilians and Turks are lost, so yes believe it or not we got a problem.

It is obvious that Adriatica and Syndicate have some issues. But it is not the first time the countries which are members to these two alliances have issues. They have been experiencing difficult challanges since Sirius was dead. How long this unbalance of power in the game will go on? As the writers said it is up to some countries and specifically it depends on Pacifica nations. Nevertheless it is obvious that even Asteria lost Argentina and Brazil, they were one step ahead from the others which helped them to recover swiftly. How things will move on? We will see but both Syndicate, Adriatica, Asteria and other countries which have part in this will face challanges and that will be decisive on who will rule the eWorld. I would like to thank Bogi, Lord Doel and Sebastian Vettell for their contributions. Thanks for reading and keep following Foreign Policy!
