Arm America
Resoula

I'm sure every tank-conserving American citizen knows about Arm America by now. You know, that thing that comes around during some battles and then you can get free weapons for fighting in key battles for America in the rare blue moon that it turns on?

Well what if I told you that everything you knew was a lie? Our glorious SoD Senryaku has made some quiet changes to the program that will make it a hell of a lot more appealing to you. Yes you!

What if I told you that you could get free Q7 weapons, not once in a blue moon, but for fighting in ANY DoD ordered battle? That's right! With just a few simple steps, YOU will be on your way to getting some Q7 weapons paid for by your local taxpayers, just like me!

Step #1. Check the DoD newspaper for updated orders: http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/dod-orders-194506/1

Step #2. Fight!

Step #3. Include a screenshot of the leader-boards that displays the battle you fought in, the division you fought in, and your position in the leader-boards.

Step #4. Provide your screenshot Arm America's official supply threa😛 http://eusaforums.com/forum/index.php/topic,36405.0.html

Step #5. Get weapons, get paid.

Congressional Update
Edgar Figaro

The past month has been a very active one for the eUS congress, mostly centering around debate over the two major tax bills, the first of which raised work taxes from 8% to the current rate of 15%. Orikfricai opened discussion citing the need to replenish national funds quickly following recent campaigns and building the reserve in the case that this level of activity were to continue. With initial debates centering over Evry’s proposed 12% figure, the number was eventually lifted to 15% proposed by Molly Emma. The bill went into effect two days later following a 28/22 vote with one congress member abstaining.

With many congress representatives already displeased with the passage of the first tax bill, discussion began on the first of September proposing the idea of lowering taxes to 10%. With the initial reasoning being that a more efficient return was in store if taxes were lowered, discussion quickly became a back and forth argument over the allocation of tax revenue towards military endeavours. The bill was put to a vote the next day where it was shot down 16/25 with one congress member abstaining.

Another recent discussion began on September 6 by congressman Nicholas Ryan proposing a new National Strength Training Program in response to recent discontent about the Bank Up 2 Strength Up program. The discussion outlined a program that would take a more active approach in strengthening young players (D1/D2) by having military units gauging activity of said players and reporting the activity to congress. Congress would then send gold directly to young players by way of a stipend of set-aside funds. The discussion most likely will go to a proposal within the next couple days.

Harvest Festival Recap
Mama Lunete

So we’ve come to the close of the first harvest festival week, and what a weird week it was. Due to the relative newness of organizing an event like this, there were bound to be some issues involved, but all in all, it’s been an entertaining first half of the festival.

The Meet and Greet (though I couldn’t make it myself due to timezones etc.), went off, so far as I can tell, without a hitch. I certainly haven’t heard anything derogatory about it, so really, no news, I assume, means good news. I hope you all enjoyed meeting your cabinet!

The EUSA Forums Mafia Game continues to
rage, we’ve had some interesting developments. Day one, no actions were taken and we moved right along into the evening. The next morning we found dear Yui1 murdered, I doubt there was much of a fight. Beachbunny was particularly disturbed at the murder of her eDaughter, claiming that “I will have my revenge!”.

MarkAkron also burst into tears, screaming “WHY? WHY?! Yui didn deserve to die!” Of course this burst of emotion must have seemed to suspicious to Senryaku, who called on the town to immediately lynch him. Which they did. It was not a quick death. He screamed for hours as the executioners slowly worked their way down his body, tickling ferociously, with pictures of Yui1 worn on their faces as a sign of mourning.

Jaden A then called for a lynching of Senryaku, and was promptly killed by the Mafia during the night. Her last words were "avenge me..." She certainly didn’t go quietly, there appeared to be a large struggle at the scene of the crime, her primary weapon seemed to have been an enormous blunt club, we don’t know why she owned it. Senryaku himself, the Mark Lyncher, was also murdered during the night at the hands of a rogue vigilante. He was sitting on the toilet when shot in the navel by a crossbow. Whoever did it seems to have escaped through a series of secret tunnels running from Senryaku’s very own Fortress of Doom.

What exciting developments shall come next? Well stay tuned to the forums to find out.

The Hearthstone Tournament plans are still unfolding, The current plan is for there to be a showmatch between myself and Yui1, we’ll be talking during the game on teamspeak, and all of it will be uploaded to youtube. Illiguy and Dio Soryu will be hanging out in the background as well. It’s still in the works, but there will be something entertaining at the end of it!
