Soldiers and citizens of the eNetherlands, at ease!

To be honest, we didn’t expect such a participation, but we are glad to see the community wants to know more about our work and and what’s going on in our country. As we said in the other article, our intention is to do it again at the end of the term, and see how things have changed and if the people still have all that doubts. I think it’s not necessary to say that if you have any doubt when there aren’t any article published you are totally free to send us a PM and we will try to solve your doubts as soon as possible.

There have been interesting questions and difficult ones, ofc there are some information that could not be revealed for strategic reasons, but we will try to respond as more honestly as possible. We have divided the questions in four sections: MoD, DAF, FA and others. I know, I talk too much, let’s go to what really matters.



Defense questions:

Where do you think Poland will AS in few days ?
This does not matter as Poland has no need for us, but we have no idea where, when and who they will attack. As you can see on the country page of Poland the only recourse they do not have is Limestone, so maybe they strike into one of the Limestone regions in the world.

Poland will be soon Dictator state, what does this mean for us ?
Its just cosmetic, it doesn't matter to us.

Why is Germany in Belgium?
Germany was attacked by Montenegro after the successful airstrike of Montenegro into Belgium. The Germans repelled the attack and striked back into the regions of Belgium to kick out Montenegro. The first RW wasn’t successful because it was opened without the gov confirmation, or was opened too fast, but in a few days they will probably free the region again. When will we fight for our home soil?
We know that we are in an uncomfortable situation, with Hungary in our lands, we know it’s not a desirable situation, especially if we assume that Hungary doesn’t need that regions for anything, but nowadays we have an agreement, and we will not be The Netherlands if we broke our deal.

We have an agreement with Hungary about two of our regions. Is there an "end date" to this agreement and if so, when?
You can read that in the agreement. It will be extended everymonth in silence, unless the Hungarian or country president of the Netherlands will change or break it.

What exactly are the literal words of the agreement?

Are we still in negotiation about the other two regions?
We have signed a treaty/agreement, so no, there are no negotiations.

Is there a plan to reconquer Southern and Eastern Netherlands if negotiating fails?
There is no plan for that. We have to make a plan when the agreement fails or is broken by us or the Hungarians.



Dutch Armed Forces questions:

I'm under the impression we're going back to the old stance of differentiating between MU's like we had in the past. We have been working towards equality for all soldiers yet one of the last articles stated supplies were onle there for DAF soldiers. i wonder why we start dividing our already small player base again?
It wasn’t our intention to divide the people, because of that, we prefer all the people in our National MU, and we are providing incentives in that way. A strong national MU will give us more coordination and more reputation outside, a county who hits at once is more respected than a country which soldiers do what they want.

Obviously if there are an important battle upcoming we will supply everyone and even hire mercenaries and set COs, who knows, but while we are not in war, we want to subsidize the national MU, the MU which follows direct orders from the MoD and the gov itself. And our intention is not to divide people but unificate them under DAF flag.

Will the inactivity by DAF regiment captains be tackled and improved so there will be real coordination at the regiments?
We haven't heard anything about inactive regiment captains, but if needed we will help DAF and our captains to make a plan for the needed improvements. Keep it mind that our captains can not do very much inside the Military Unit. They only are able to set the Daily Order on battles provided by our MPP’s. With no MPP’s there isn't much they can do.

Are there any plans on making any requirements to be DAF regiment captain?(if there are requirements, sorry my stupidity and ignore the question) First of all, there are no stupid questions. Second the only requirement is just being active, help your soldiers and maybe organise a strike with your regiment!

Does MU leadership involve itself in the Captain elections these days, or is it a free for all contest? Back when DAF was first created, including the 'Sword' structure, I thought Captains should be real regiment leaders, especially in the Regiments with Div 1 and Div 2 players, to serve as a guide and person they could turn to with questions.
Nothing has changed since the start of the ‘Sword’ structure. Just a few weeks ago the 2nd commander of DAF Fosite cleared all regiments, put the new and raised soldiers in the right regiments and removed the dead people.

What is the link, if any, between the MU leadership and the MoD? Does MoD just set the priorities and the Commander just follows suit, or is there any discussion between the two about the direction of the eNL military, where to focus, who to help, etc.
The prio list is always made by the country president together with his foreign affairs team and the ministry of defense. When needed the government provide the necessary information about the prio’s. When we know that something is happening in the near future we inform the commander of DAF to make sure they stand by. When the recourse wars started, and the week before, there was a 24/7 communication between MoD and DAF to make sure everything goes according the plan.

A bit linked to my first question, but are new recruits (or even new players) still guided as originally intended? If so, how and by whom? Who can they turn to with questions.
The new recruits are placed in regiment 1. They get a welcome message from the captain. He helps them out when there are questions. The DAF feed or chat is also used very much for new players who got questions. There is always someone around to help them out.

Is the 'Sword of the Nation' thing still in place, or are we spread out over the Regiment again? I wonder, since the 'inactive' Captain thing was mentioned I just seem to wonder if the Regiments are still looked at etc.
As has been answered a couple questions above, DAF is still the ‘Sword of our Nation’!



Foreign Affairs questions:
Because there are some Foreign Affairs questions we invited our FA team, Willem The Conqueror and Arcanic Mindje to give correct answers on this questions. All credits goes to our FA team!

Is this "Banana" alliance is all what we can get ? Are we at least a full member of it ?
Yes we are a full member of this alliance, but this is mainly a troll/joke alliance. We, the Foreign Affairs team, are working on it, but for now, it’s private info, that can only be revealed when the job is completely done.

Are we gonna be used again by USA for some Baja war ?
USA is our ally,and a good one in our opinion, so, Yes, we will always be willing to help an ally if we are able to do it. Even though, USA has full bonus on it’s cores, so that will be not necessary theoretically.

Who are our allies?
Our best allies are the NSPP countries (UK, Germany, Denmark and Belgium) and USA. Then we also have friendly countries.

And who are our enemies?
We aren’t at war nowadays, so we really don’t have enemies, but our unfriendly allies would be the countries of the LETO and ASTERIA alliances.

Are the countries not mentioned all neutral?
There are different kind of “neutral” countries, even though they are neutral, we could have better or worse relations depending on their government, our government or current geopolitics around the world.



Other questions:

( Maybe not MoD question but ) After we make a referendum about DC, who will be set up as new NEUTRAL one ?
This is a matter for congress. We hope that this will be solved very soon.

How many pancakes are left in the armoury?
Twice as much as infinity! The Netherlands will be untouchable for ever!

Pancakes are Netherlands greatest weapon isn't that right?
Sure they are! Didn't you see them in the war against Norway? Against Belgium? Against Hungary?

Pancakes crushed the smoke salmon of Norway under Arcanic Mindje’s CPship, is that true?
Yes that is true, but don’t tell it any further, its our secret!
