[CP] Willem II: New NAP with the Hungarian government!

Dear eDutch citizens,
A few moments ago, I have signed a new NAP (Non-Aggression Pact) with Hungary. The major change is that we will exchange Eastern Netherlands for Western Netherlands (as capital) and Northern Netherlands.

1.) Hungary will keep the following regions: Southern Netherlands and Eastern Netherlands.
2.) The Netherlands will keep the following regions: Northern Netherlands and Western Netherlands.
3.) The tax revenue generated by these regions will be repaid to the Dutch government at the end of each term (the 5th of each month), in one amount.
4.) Neither Hungary nor the Netherlands will take any actions against each other, by organising RWs, or putting CO or DO against the other side.
5.) The governments of the two countries will inform each other about any action which could affect the other side.
6.) If the Netherlands does not possess any regions by the time of the elections, one of the regions will be temporarily liberated, to secure a Dutch congress.
7.) In case a region affected by this treaty will be liberated, eNetherlands will start a Natural Enemy law upon consultation with Hungary.
8.) The agreement will renew every month, if it not cancelled before by one of the contracting sides. The agreement can be cancelled by the 6th of every month.
How the treaty will be execute

1.) The Netherlands will start a Natural Enemy vote on Hungary, after that the Netherlands will invade one of the Hungarian Dutch regions, this battle is to be won by Hungary.
2.) Hungary will invade Eastern Netherlands and that battle is to be won by Hungary.
3.) After that, the Netherlands will start a Resistance War in Western Netherlands after that one is won, a Resistance War will be started in Northern Netherlands.

It would be nice to have 4 regions again for congress.
That would be even nicer, but I'm already quite happy that Hungary returns 1 more region without asking anything in return.
Errr... that is some really strange reasoning djritsdew. Hungary still owns and dictates us. They have no real need for our land and we're not compensated for our regions they occupy.
We do not even have enough (good) candidates for 40 man congress
I agree however REL already has 39 so by the time of the election we will have 40.

It reminds me of a soccer club that is doing quite well this year (considering they're normally in the degradation zone). That club is literally called "Willem II".
That soccer club is by the way named after the Dutch king Willem II. No German emperors in the equation...
Well...there actually was one emperor with the similar name. If you don't believe me,take a look:

There are just many versions of his name.
Yeah, I know there was 1 German emperor by that name. I didn't know he fled to the Netherlands after WW1, nor that he died here during WW2. I do on the other hand believe that the world wars enabled the formation of the EU and European cooperation, i.e. something good came out of them.
But apart from that one (who really wasn't the only one to blame), you have http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_II_of_England the son of William the Conqueror.
And the Dutch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_II,_Prince_of_Orange
whose son would also be known as William II in Scotland (and William III in England).

But I guess what I want to say is that thinking only of WW1 seems rather restrictive with so many Willem II's around. We in NL would first think of the 3 Dutch Willem II's, in backwards chronological order, and only than consider switching to German, even though he lived more recently than our king and prince.
I am less unhappy with this treaty than the first one.
Just extrapolate it to what the next treaty will be like. 🙂
The route of diplomacy is a slow one, but a safe one.
ReL supports diplomacy backed up with unified strength and display of what we are capable of. Limited or not.

Best time in eNL was as a guerillia against Poland. Poor, no food, nearly no weps, but with balls hanging free and honor. honor has been signed away in eNL a long time. The balls have been cooked and presented to anyone who likes to take them.
