[SFPress]Interview with crvnazvezda

Day 2,672, 01:50 Published in USA USA by MaryamQ

The next in our interview series, crvnazvezda, is one of the eOldest players in the game, a smart and experienced guy who has been all over the eWorld and has chosen to make SFP his political home, where he serves as the current Councillor. I didn’t know much about him when shiloh13 suggested him as an interview subject. I learned this was because he is not a primary English speaker and doesn’t say a lot, but I think you will agree that when he speaks, it is worth listening.

You are one of the quieter players in a party where many of us are very vocal. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What can you share about the real person behind the eRepublik character?

IRL character doesn't matter in an online game, You can only get it throughout his mode of his e-play.
..My nickname came from the Serbian football club Crvena Zvezda, I am a big fan of this football club.
I am Hungarian in RL, so it is not usual. Also it means: red star. So it has also political meaning.

You were kind enough to share this link to a previous interview. Although it is written in Hungarian, and Google translate is far from ideal, I understand that you started your eLife in Budapest, which was part of Romania at that time, and that you were part of the Hungarian migration to Malaysia, and later moved to Poland for bonuses. What did you like or dislike about each of the places you lived. What made you decide to come to the eUS?

I’ve spent 1-2 month in e-Romania as a beginner, then 1-2 months in e-Hungary.
It was enough to see it is a slow game. Fast parts, like trading or war are meaningless.
Social part is the most interesting part of this game. At that time was a so called
"Index (population) boom" in e-Hungary. Loads/Some of my online known friends registered.
After some weeks we started to think about "what next?".

So we started to converse about internationalism/nationalism and other social parts of the game.
Finally we went to e-Malaysia to build a country and society. It was a very interesting period.
After 1.5 years e-Malaysia was TO-d by a very strong Serbian group (Cipelici). Then I went to Czech Republic where one of my Turkish online friends invited me. He sai😛 We start to build e-socialism there. In two months all power went to the hands of e-people. They built a model, where with high taxes, private production was unprofitable. They did it for 2 months, then they were so bored with many, many donations. The system slowly collapsed. After that collapse I went to e-Russia,
but it was only some weeks; soon I went to e-Hungary. Relatively, I was a strong soldier and applied for "Hungarian Elite Unit" membership. Soon I became a member. E-Malaysian time and HUNELIT time are the most memorable to me.

After 2 years the e-political situation, social contacts in e-Hungary became too sharp, cruel, unfair. So I went to e-Germany, where one of my Hungarian online friends was the president of the German e-communist party. Since this time, I play as an e-German; 2 or 3 years ago I applied for eUSA citizenship with support of the e-German president. Socialist Freedom Party is the only party where I ever was a member here (except: TO danger situations). I like eUSA community, mostly because of modes and methods which are useful in eUSA (respect, communication, methods of common thinking, etc). I still "play" as an e-German, member of e-German Red Army MU. On the other hand I play the political module with e-USA citizenship. I like this "international" mode of playing.

Why did you choose to be a member of the Socialist Freedom Party? What would you like to see happen with the party in the future?

When first I came to e-USA I tried to find the "best" left side party, and matched SFP. Meaning and substance of "Social Freedom" is one of the most difficult problematics in eRep. I think idealism, theoretical questions/answers are the most important for a left-wing e-party – simplified more ideology, less pragmatism.

I note that in your previous interview you were interested in the economic part of the game, but that you have also been active militarily. Which is your favorite module in the game?

Social module is the best, but needs much time I don’t have currently. Actually I mostly play military part and some economic.

What comments or advice would you like to share with our readers?

eRep has a social part.
