Presidential Interview et un grand merci!

Dear Readers,

Before I want to share the interview with the president, I would like to say thank you to all people who wished me a happy birthday today. For those who don't know yet or missed lancer450's article, it's my 15th birthday today 😃

Now we are moving on to the interview with President Fhaemita the Apostate (damn I can't remember how to spell this name xD). I would like to thank the president for answering my interview. Here it is!

1. What do you expect from your current government?
The minimum I expect is for my government, my ministers and state secretaries to be active that is a first objective. I just hope my government will do their job without too much nonsense. Most people have done their job many times before so everybody is very capable of doing their job and know what to do and what is expected from them.

2. What do you want to achieve in this term?
Currently we have an agreement with Hungary about them holding two of our regions which is a thorn in the side of many of our citizens and of our surrounding countries. It gives Hungary a base of operations for them to attack other countries. Although I think we should respect our agreement with Hungary I do hope we can have them leave and give us our regions back. Having four regions though also has its challenges.

3. Are there any key problem(s) in the eNetherlands that we need to solve immediately?
Besides all the interviews that a country president has to give when he gets elected so that he doesn’t get the chance to do his work I do think there are some key issues that needs to be solved, I think the main problem that we currently have is the lack of unity and the division in our country. This is a huge problem and only causes for non productive discussions on the forum and more division.

4. Have you got any idea to solve (it/them)?
I have said in my campaign article that I would like to fix it but I am not completely sure how to fix it. I do not think it is is something that easily can be fixed. Disagreements between people or groups or people are complicated it required both sides to solve the issue so both sides not to work together and compromise and respect each other opinion.

5. What are our most important allies
There has been some discussion about allies and if we actually do have allies. I do think we have and last terms the foreign affairs department has been working on working on this. Obviously our neighbours who where is NSPP are our allies as is USA who we’ve had great relations with for many years. We’ve been working on trying to reestablish relationships with Norway and I do think that they could be a good allie. Allies and friends are hard to keep, you need to invest time and damage in order to keep them and even then with changes in alliances and allegiances that might not be enough.

6. What do you think of our current alliances?
We joined this alliance after multiple ingame invites has been send to us and multiple times we reject the invitations. Eventually we joined the alliance but it is a very informal alliance if you can even call it an alliance. I do see this as an opportunity to work on relationships with countries who are part of this alliance but I do not see Banana Alliance as a an alliance that will stay around long. I do believe that eNetherlands should keep their eyes open on what is happening around them alliance wise and see if there are other and better opportunities with better organized alliances who share our goals.

7. Do you think we stand a chance against the New World?
On our own we do not stand a chance, we need help from other countries, friends and allies which we are working on. With NSPP we made great strides on relationships with our surrounding countries. We worked with our neighbors and helped each other. USA always been a help when we needed them and we helped them too in the past with Mexico. We need to invest in allies who we can help us and we can help them to get anywhere in this new world.

8. What are your thoughts about the current situation in the New World?
Currently, it is quite boring there are barely any wars going on and those that are going on are either Resistance Wars or and Revolutions. I hope this will change soon and we’ll go back to business with a lot more wars going on. In the current situation the game will even die out faster with barely no activity and wars.

9. Do you think the eNetherlands is supporting you?
I was only two votes short of getting 50% of the votes so yes I do think that eNetherlands is supporting me. Ofcourse there is opposition against me which I applaud, it is only good to have some sort of opposition and people challenging idea’s. If everybody would just agree with everybody it would get very boring very soon and not much would ever change. Although I there is opposition I do think eNetherlands supports me, if that ceases to be the case there will most likely be an impeachment .

10. What do you want to say to the people of the eNetherlands?
Thank you again for electing me again and I hope to do you proud.
