CP Elections Around the World
Pacifica Alliance Leader Wild Owl

Here are CP election results in our Pacifica partner nations, followed by a few other countries of eUSA national interest.

√ Oblige won in USA (yay!).
√ Nimnul won in Russia, most of you who've done FA should know him, he's solid.
√ Casadeli stays as CP in Latvia.
√ Alicia Florenca, the person with whom we signed the initial Japan agreement is CP in RoC.

• Costin1989 won in Romania. He's former USWP and is assumed to be pro USA.
• The anti-SRB guy won in PL. They'll be sticking to their current diplomacy model. This is good.
• Khutayrwa won in Croatia. Cro establishment candidate.
• Turkey had an upset, Tuzgun lost.
• GIP candidate won in Greece, also good.
• Cerb is on in Germany
• Rylde continues to stay in power in Canada.
• UK elected a RL Serbian as CP.
• The pro-Pacifica candidate won in eFinland.
• Hungary elected a pro-PL guy.
• The French CP will look to build relations in the coming month. They're also pro-Pacifica which despite their FUBAR status, isn't a bad thing, although we wont be inviting them to the Alliance anytime soon.
• Valkirya from EDEN times won in Cuba. She's a bi-ch.

The USA looks forward to a great month alongside its friends and allies and looks forwarding to exerting and challenging its foes on the battlefields.

Presidential Daily Briefing: Tyler’s Last and Oblige’s First
CoSecMed "Old Man" Custer

It’s always fun to watch this part of the political cycle, the outgoing President and Cabinet on their last day at work and then the new President and his crew on their first day on the job. Here’s just a slice of how the November transition went.

Wednesday Nov 5 (Day 2542)

While some Cabinet Department heads rushed to publish one last article promoting ongoing programs and contests, Chief of Staff (CoS) Pfeiffer made one last push to get everyone to prepare their Transition Packets and pass them along to their successors.
Incoming CoS Artela was on hand to help outgoing Secretaries find the right people to pass along their Packets and info to.

One normal procedure is to purge all access lists to White House forum and IRC channels, then the new President and Chief of Staff repopulate those lists with their own people.

Lots of “job well done” and “thanks for the opportunity to serve” all around.

President Bubblar: “I want to thank you all for your efforts the last two months. This really has been an honor and a privilege. It's also been a lesson in pragmatism, one I won't be forgetting.”
President Oblige: “And thus ends the two terms of the Bubblar Presidency. They will be remembered fondly (minus our slightly lighter wallets) for the stunning military victories fought against two enemy air strikes and the continued, successful, expansion of PACIFICA.”

Thursday Nov 6 (Day 2543)

First, have a look at the full November Cabinet. Can’t tell the players without a scorecard.

The Department of Defense (DoD) and National Security Council (NSC) don’t get a “break in period,” they’re on the job and working within the first minutes of the new term.

One interesting phenomenon with every new Administration is the rush of congratulatory messages from Presidents and Ministers of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) from all over the world. Everyone wants to make a good impression right away to help guide good relations going forward. As always, Google Translate made some of these messages fun to figure out.

CoS Artela was busy, too, still helping new Department heads find their Packets, and laying down the law about proper conduct. “Yes, have fun, but not at the expense of the running of the country!”
A few Dept heads added additional Deputies and staff-- Artela updated the Cabinet list.

The first PDB of the term ran three forum pages long-- an indication of the level of interest and activity of the new Cabinet. Other than the usual hassles involving getting everyone access to where they need to be, this day was a busy beehive of people checking in and getting everything they need straightened out.

As always, much of what goes on in the Briefing Room is sensitive, if not outright Classified. Sometimes this is because it involves battle plans, sometimes it’s just prudent to keep a lid on things in early stages of discussion till there’s something substantive to report.

War Maps & Analysis

Starting up North, we see that our ally the UK has taken the advantage in the War with Canada. When last we met, neither had the upper hand, but the UK has now won seven battles in a row. Canada has nine regions, though, and I wouldn't expect the UK to actually wipe Canada. It's a good little war though. Enjoy the fun.

Checking on our friends in Finland, we see that Estonia has now won six of the last seven battles and reduced Finland to three regions. While our MPP with Finland hails back to a long friendship, this Asgard/Root MPP amalgam would do with sorting. Russia and Lithuania are having fun against Sweden, who is down to five regions. Russia is about to attack and Lithuania looks to win in Gotaland.

Our friends in Albania are fighting the good fight against Serbia. I once asked an Albanian, "Would you ever consider signing an NAP with Serbia?". To which they replied, "Never. Never. Never. Never." Right now they are holding their own in Tirana. Keep fighting the good fight.

Serbia and Poland are now entering their sixth battle, in a War that gives Poland the chance to settle for once and all who is stronger. Poland has rolled with five wins and looks to take Apulia. Survey says, "How long until Serbia tries to RW and cut the war?" I hope they do not wimp out, but I'd understand if they do. Enjoy the Show.

Just a quick shoutout to China. Leave Asteria. That is all.

Keep clicking and Keep shaking that A**.
