Greetings citizens of eNetherlands,

As noted in my previous article I am running for Country President of eNetherlands. This is my second article in a series of (hopefully) four articles in my campaign for presidency. In this second article I will post my manifest, my plans for eNetherlands this month. I know they aren't earth shattering or anything but I do have a clear vision of what I want for our country and what I want to achieve. I hope that if there a people doubting if they should vote for me (if there is even a choice on election day) they I will convince to vote for me with these plans.

Also I don't want to make this a big point but I do think it needs to be addressed so would also like to touch in past indiscretions that have happened in the past. I know that some people especially people who are a member of Geuzenpartij still disgruntled about. I do not want to restart the discussion about what happened or play the blame game and point fingers at who did what. I do believe that there is enough blame to go around for everybody involved to take part of the blame. I do believe and hope that people will be able to see past this and get past what has happened in the past. What happend happend and it has been a year. eNetherlands is too small to hold grudges against each other that is why I would like to offer a olive branch to GPN members or anybody else who have felt grieved about what happened in the past. eNetherlands is a small community with only a relatively small number of people. We need to work together and not work against each other. Like I said I would like to offer my hand in friendship to anybody who felt grieved. The time for retaliation and grudges is long gone, it is time to bury the hatchet for once and for all.



Foreign Affairs
We made great strides these (past) month(s) in foreign affairs, we've been working hard in our relations with our neighbours, with countries of Aurora and those in Sirius. Our focus should still be on improving these relations. The signing of the North Sea Protection Pact with neighbouring countries like Belgium, Germany and Denmark was a good step in improving relations with those countries. We also greatly improved our relations with with our big brother on the east Poland over past month something that has given us Congress over the last couple of months. It is important to keep, stabilize and possible improve our relations with Poland to keep having congress in the future. Also one of our focusses should be Aurora and trying to get finally get accepted in Aurora after all these months. They have been dangling acceptance in Aurora for months now but to most people we have not got much further with this. I do think we need clarification if we will be accepted if not, if not we need an alternate plan, a plan that includes still helping Aurora and/or Sirius.

Defense
The military is a strong foreign affairs tools someone once told me and he is right. We need a strong military and we need them be there on the battlefield and help our allies and show them how valuable we actually are. We need all our military units and all our soldiers fighting in for our allies and not waste our damage in some resistance war in eNL that we need to lose. Although orders can also be set using priorities we need to (re)sign MPP's so military units can easily set DO's and fight where needed. To inform people who are not in a military unit the Ministry of Defense needs to post orders daily to inform those people where to fight, the orders also needs to be updated when needed. We will also be doing Joined Strikes with our North Sea Protection Pact as is agreed in the charter. I am hoping to do more than the minimum of one strike a month/term and setup more cooperation defense wise between these countries.

Not so long ago national MU's were merged and the The Dutch Armed Forces was formed as our Our National Army. It has grown to being one of eNetherlands leading armies in number of people and in their damage. In the recent World Cup tournament they did a outstanding job winning three of the four divisions and only losing in division three from Praetorian Guard NL who fought a good fight in all divisions. eNetherlands needs a strong national army that can be hold responsible to follows order the Minister Of Defense sets and The Dutch Armed Forces has proven to be just that, a strong military unit.

Home Affairs
The Ministry of Home affairs currently has two things running the trout competition run by Tim Veltkamp and World Cup Tournament run by GEN. DE LA REY. The trout competition will keep on running this term and the World Cup Tournament will run until the end of the World Cup (obviously). I am hoping to start something news to replace the World Cup Tournament. The minister of home affairs also has the last say on immigration and who is let into our country and as such has to be vigilant to not let in the wrong person or persons who will do anything to harm eNetherlands. The Ministry of Home Affairs will also regularly post articles like they have already been doing over the last couple of months

Finance
As long as nothing strange will happen the upcoming term there will be no big or strange expenditure and it will it be business as usual in the Ministry of Finance. With the limited income that eNetherlands has out of their income with only two of our regions there is not much room to really do and spend more then we are already doing. The Minister of Finance and his deputy will keep the money save, they will make the budget, keep the finance sheet up to date and will keep on donating gold to Heikanu and Dave Brinkman for the Dutch Armed Forces commune. Possible they will be active on the monetary marked to earn extra income and possibly talk to Poland to donate us lost income tax from the regions they are holding.

Coaching & Recruitment

The Coaching & Recruitment is a retention tool for new citizens, without it a lot of new citizens will leave the game right away. Joining a game can be very confusing and a lot of people who do not understand the game will quit the game again right away that is why te coaching of new citizens is very important, contacting them making them feel welcome and teaching them about the game can make the difference between a new citizens staying in the game of leaving. The Coaching & Recruitment will contact new citizens and point them on their way, answer questions they might have. The Ministry will also post guides for new citizens explaining how things like for instance fighting works.



Communication & Transparancy
Transparently isn't easy, a government needs to be transparent and communicate with it's citizen but there is also a limit to transparency, there is a thin line between being transparent and just over communicating everything. The government also of course have running business they cannot be transparent about (yet), sensitive matters that should not be leaked or made public. I hope to be as transparent as possible, to inform eNetherlands about what your government is doing and doing regular updates on this.
