USA after CoT
DylanBAS

This is a survey regarding the future of American foreign policy. As almost all of you know, we recently left CoT. This may be a letdown, but it opens up a whole new range of international freedoms that have many doors open. Your input as US citizens is required, so we ask you to fill out this survey to gauge the will of the people regarding our foreign policy.

An Interview with President NewAzazel
Kelly J. Brown

Fayetteville, Arkansas – The world turns. The autumn sun has set, its spent hues now giving way to the neon energy of a city just awakening. I hurry down the cobblestone, turning up my jacket’s collar against the new evening chill. The air is thick and tense, and a distant hum claws at the edges of my senses with a poignant urgency. The world turns.

I approach the doors of the bar at which I have been requested to meet with the new President of These United States, NewAzazel. The bar has no name, and is identified only via a solid wooden door; it has been made up to resemble the classic speakeasy establishments of the Prohibition. As I enter, I see that it has no windows, and a smoky, brooding vibe; yet, there is laughter here, and energy, and friends coming together. The instinctive human response to darkness has never been to close one’s eyes.

Soon I am joined by the man himself. Somewhat younger than Frost, but no less handsome, Azazel greets me with a casual, articulate confidence. We sit down together, and I dive in.

Brown: First of all, many congratulations, Mr. President.

Azazel: Thank you so much.

Brown: This was an intense and interesting election. If you had to summarize what allowed you to rise to the top of such an interesting group of candidates, what would you say?

Azazel: Well, I definitely had support of my friends in the Federalist Party, as otherwise I wouldn't have been on the ballot, so I owe them a debt of gratitude. I also believe I had a good message and good experience. I get along well with people, I listen, I talk, and I have had a rounded experience in foreign affairs, defense, and media. I also drive harder for the country, and people know that.

Brown: For the citizens who may not have followed the blow-by-blow of the campaign, can you summarize your agenda for the next month?

Azazel: I want to deal with our foreign affairs now that we are an independent country. I also want to rebuild and retool our domestic programs to be more effective in dealing with new players, and provide a constant voice and ear to citizens about the activities of government. President Frost put us in a good spot, and it’s now my job to make use of it.

Brown: Speaking of foreign affairs, what are our next steps?

Azazel: We have to find our footing. The world is about to change and we have to find our place in it among our allies, new opportunities, and adversaries. People at home and abroad have been wary about the foreign policy decisions of the US, and I intend to rebuild confidence on both sides in our ability to commit to smart diplomacy. We have to reach out and build or create bonds that will ensure security for the eUS and its interests. Small steps, but important ones.

Brown: What can the citizenry of the eUSA do to help support your agenda?

Azazel: They can make their voice heard, ask me questions, or propose ideas. A lot of decisions have been made without considering all domestic interests, and I don't want to continue that trend. However, I do want a more active and involved community, so don't be afraid to reach out.

Brown: What are your feelings about the economic situation in the eUSA? Do you have an agenda concerning taxation and related issues?

Azazel: Economics should be getting a little better with the return of most of our regions. As for taxation, I'm a believer in math. I want the numbers to benefit the USAF, government, and private individuals, but I also want them to be smart. Taxation will likely be considered further by congress, and I intend to follow the debate closely.

Brown: What mindset would you encourage citizens and MU leaders to have regarding military action?

Azazel: The eUS is at peace right now and I'm certainly not considering a war immediately without cause. Build up reserves and strength, but still lend a hand to support allies on their fronts. Without CoT we're more independent in action, but we still give help to those countries that have always been there for us or with whom we have special bonds. The breakup of CoT might cause a few of us to part ways in the end, but right now I'm optimistic about our situation.

Brown: I really appreciate your time, President Azazel. Is there anything else you'd like to say to the eAmerican people?

Azazel: If you have grown apathetic over the last few months, now is the time to get reengaged. We have a new start, and we should take full advantage of it. I want to secure our country for the future, and your help is definitely needed.

A dram of whisky. The wail of a saxophone, sensual, sorrowful. A warm breeze passing though the cold city streets.
The world turns.

A Part of Something Great
Azzon

The eUSA is changing, and you can have an impact on where we are headed. We are only starting to see the next generation of great American leaders. A whole new political landscape has come before us, with RGR out and 5 legitimate and strong parties in the eUSA is at a true turning point. We are taking great strides to strengthen ourselves internally and work towards making this game fun again.

The eUSA is putting lots of effort and resources into programs to help and educate new players, creating the strongest foundation this country has had in a long time.
Links and Programs for new citizens

Now we need you, to join in and help out. Become the leaders of these programs and help bring up the next generation of eUSA citizens. The truth is that you can offer us just as much as we offer you. The not new, not old, players of this country are the people who make our infrastructure strong and our programs possible. At the end of the day our workers turn into our leaders, and there is no better time to get involved than right now.
