[DoE] Current Events: Circle of Trust

Day 2,132, 22:21 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

This article (by staff writer Alexandrer Coin) intends to bring new citizens up-to-speed on our current in-game alliance, Circle of Trust (CoT).

Hello eBabies,

Today we'll be discussing Circle of Trust (CoT) and how the alliance works. CoT is a 15-member military alliance which was formed after Chile & Bulgaria left their respective alliances (EDEN and TERRA).

CoT includes the following countries:
eBelgium
eBulgaria
eChile
eGermany
eIndonesia
eJapan
eMexico
eParaguay
ePeru
eRepublic of Macedonia
eRepublic of Moldova
eRussia
eSouth Korea
eSwitzerland
eUSA

CoT also has two trial members:
eFrance
eCanada

CoT's members help each other with economic and military predicaments. The alliance is currently led by Supreme Commanders potato134 and Konrad von Tirpitz, along with the Council of CoT.

I (Alexandrer Coin) was fortunate to have a friendly chat with both the current German country president, n0s3, and Supreme Commander (S.C.) Konrad von Tirpitz after the summit a couple days before their recent gathering. I was able to get a good bit of information on how the alliance's diplomatic relations with other countries (both inside and outside of CoT) will be addressed.

Consistent fighting and coordination are big factors which will need to be resolved, along with other common issues facing the eUS and other eCountries in need of help. According to n0s3, “One key to accomplish such successes is communication.” While communication is vital, CoT must be objective when looking at different angles to succeed. As S.C. Konrad von Tirpitz mentioned, "CoT member nations and their representatives are pretty good about looking at the big picture. They are willing to take short-term inconveniences to achieve a long-term victory for CoT."

CoT members share a common goal--to abolish TWO (the alliance The World is Ours, CoT's main opponent) and to end any PTO threats. Konrad von Tirpitz explained that "our reaction times and even our shout feed networks are much more efficient. We strategically utilize Combat Orders, as well. All of this has helped us win battles where TWO actually spent more cash. The most important battle to fight is one of morale." As CoT continues the fight against TWO, it is likely to make a tremendous effort once more to increase communication and coordination.

CoT has come a long way to what it currently is now; regarding communication and coordination, the alliance is constantly on the move and continues to progress as a whole. Their excellent leadership in the past few weeks has allowed its members to fight off many enemies and coordinate with one another. As long as CoT is around there will be someone to protect from PTO threats!
