Q4 Training + Contract = Free Training!
Edelmann
Hello everyone,
I discussed this issue a few times already on IRC and felt like publishing it, maybe it helps someone. The basic message was already told in the title of the article: If you have all your training facilities on Q4 and purchase the 90% contract, your training is basically free if you include the medal gold, meaning you won't have to make additional purchases or anything to maintain your training. As we will see, you will even generate a tiny profit.
Alright, here we go. I guess most of you using training contracts know this: A contract is valid for exactly 30 days (720 hours), which means that you can use it 31 times, just buy it late in the eDay and train early at the latest day.
Training with all facilities on Q4 is 0+0.19+0.89+1.79 = 2.87 gold a day, so 0.287 gold with the contract.
Here are our expenses for 1 month of training using the contract:
53g (90% contract) + 31*0.287g (31 times training) = 61.897 gold
So, during those 31 days the contract is running, you invest a total of 61.897 gold in your training. About 2 gold a day.
But now, let's have a look at the income we generate with the training. We train 31 times, each time we get (on average) 91.8 strength. For every 250 strength we gain, we're awarded a super soldier medal and 5 gold. Here's the math:
31*91.8 (total strength gained) / 250 (strength needed to get a super soldier medal) * 5 (amount of gold you receive per SS medal) = 56.916 [gold]
Now let's just add the gold we get for the hard worker medal and we're done.
56.916 + 31/30 (31 days worked in said period, 30 days needed for a HW medal) * 5 (amount of gold you receive per HW medal) = 62.08267 [gold]
To sum it all up:
Expenses: 61.897 gold
Income: 62.08267 gold
PROFIT: 0.18567 gold
Additional guaranteed income comes from possible level-ups (1g each), but I didn't include this since it varies depending on how many hits you make, how many companies you're working in etc.
Long story short: If you have all your training grounds on Q4 and purchase the 90% training contract, you'll even achieve a little profit (0.18567 gold) while it is active.
So, if you have any chance to upgrade to full Q4 training, do it. You won't need to spend a lot of gold to maintain this level of training, it's just a one-time investment to upgrade. Also, of course, higher strength means it becomes easier to get other medals like Battle Hero, Campaign Hero, and eventually Top Fighter. And it makes you feel cooler.
Thanks for reading,
Edelmann
P.S.: If you want to shout, I prepared something for you:

never thought about it but press anyway every button i find here😁
Where do you get 0 + 0.19 + 0.79 + 1.49 from? I think it should be 0 + 0.19 + 0.89 + 1.79 .
It should, and I have no idea what I was thinking over there. Fixed.
Well your final number of 0.287 was correct so that is all that matters anyway 🙂
Don't give away our secrets! 😛
wasn't the 90% contract more expensive than the 50%?
don't have the costs of the contact available at the moment so i can't check
+ if you calculae the profit of the training-contract but then mix in hard-worker to show that you make more money with contracts... that's a bit...
you should calculate
training without contract:
Xdays * [gold for training]
and compare it with the costs you have with the contract that is:
Xdays * [gold for training] + price of contract
if you pay less gold for training with the contract (incl contract price) than without & you train every day then you should buy a contract.
maybe it was not the gold/strength-ratio of 50% VS 90%contract but gold/strength-ratio of using 3trainingcenters VS using 4trainingcenters... not shure
*shure - sure
The 90% contract is more expensive as in "it costs more money to purchase it", but it makes more money in the end. And yeah, I see your point about including the HW money, but the argument of the article is not that you should get a contract, but that you basically don't have to worry about gold if you make it to Q4 training.
.
"90% contract is more expensive...but it makes more money in the end".
how that? what counts is the time how often you train and with both contracts you train exactly the ssame amount of days and with that get exactly the same amount of strength. that leaves the higher costs of 90%training... (see comment my below)
Now I only need to make it to Q4 training everywhere :/
Also I think that the 50% contract is 25g.
0.5*2.87*31+25 = 69.485g
0.9*2.87*31+53 = 61.897g
If you only train with 3 facilities, it's a whole other story ofc.
0.5*1.98*31+25 = 55.69g
0.1*1.98*31+53 = 59.138g
0.1, not 0.9, of course. Derp.
RAWR
ah yeah
4trainingcenter:
2.87g to get 90strength = 0,0318g per strength
vs
3trainingcenter (1,2,4):
1.98g to get 70strength = 0,0283g per strength
3 TC-training [4 TC-training] with trainingcontracts for 30days:
50%contract costs
1.98g/2 = 0.99g per day
[1,435]
that's all in all (for 30days) costs of
0.99g*30 + 30g = 59,7g
[73,05]
90%contract costs
1.98 * 10/100 = 0,198g per day
[0,287]
that's all in all (for 30days) costs of
0.198*30 + 65 = 70,94
[73,61]
tl,dr
with 50% contract you save more money because the 90%contract is too expensive (if you train 30times)
Training contracts were 30/65 but are now 25/53. 😛
.
still makes
with 3TC (50/90😵
54,7 VS 58.94
with 4TC
68,05 VS 61,61
= with 3TC a 50%contract is cheaper
Yep, as stated above:
If you only train with 3 facilities, it's a whole other story ofc.
0.5*1.98*31+25 = 55.69g
0.1*1.98*31+53 = 59.138g
yeah sorry didn't see it
(+ i use just 3 and began to doubt my decision to buy the 50%thingy...)
because with both contracts you get the same strength but with less gold if you use 50%contract makes the 90% offer a bit stupid... would be wise to make 90%cheaper as bonus because you still pay more gold upfront than with 50% (not that admins would get something from higher upfront payments like banks do in RL)
hm you really are confusing me. i guess you doing this to show that with a training contract you can make more if you have all the training facitlities to q4. well they would not introduce a training contract if it did was not beneficial. you need to do it this way. cost to train 30 days all facitilisties w/o contract = 86.1
cost to train 30 days with all facitlities q4 with contract = 61.1 gold
profit is 25 gold a month.
because if a person spent the 190 gold to get a q4 trainging facitlitiy and are not using it well they will not buy a contract. and so trying to point out to a person who doesn't train that trainging is good might work i guess. but it seems to me like trying to beat a dead horse.
hm i too lazy to look at q3 trainging grounds.
The whole argument is that once you manage to achieve full Q4 training and the 90% contract, you're basically done since you won't need to invest more money after reaching this point. It's not about whether the training contract saves money or doesn't, of course it does. (Depending on the scenario of course, if you only use the free and the 0.19 training facility and get a 90% contract, you're doing it wrong.)
oh i am not sopped to get a 90% training contract and then only train in the first two whoops. lol jk.
well i think spending 53 gold on a contract is an investment. and all investments a person should look at the risks. but if a prson has the 800 gold to upgrade all training to q4 and the 53 gold to buy the contract. they should be able to do the math them selves. a person who has all q1 training facitlities should they get the contract? or should they get the 50% contract? or at what point would the contract be worth it?
the thing is
with the higher traininggrounds the gold/strength-ratio gets higher meaning training gets more expensive (3TC*: 0.0283g/strength VS 4TC: 0.03188g/strength)
so because of this some might train just with 3trainingcenters instead of 4
and while 90%contract is the right choice for training if you use all TCs with just using 3TC you should use the 50% to get your strength even cheaper
* TCs 1,2 and 4
i like you knowledge of the training grounds and training contracts!
just remembered that admins changed the costs of the 3rd training so the ratio of TC 1,2,3 should be even lower (=cheaper) than training 1,2,4
[but with contracts 1,2,4 saves more money...]
Have a look at this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5119025/TGs.png Did I make a mistake somewhere?
shouldn't it be 50 70 90 str per day or is that with the daily bonus?
Yes, it includes the average daily bonus and the medal gold also includes the 5.16667 HW gold.
lolwat how 5.something HW? isn't it always 5?
nice.
Edelmann is correct in his calculations, the 90% costs more up front than the 50% but you are only paying 10% per day to train opposed to 50%. If you have all Q4 training centers and train everyday you should get the 90% contract whenever it is offered.
yes you save money with the contracts
with training in all 4 trainingcenters at q4 you save*:
50%contract = ~18g
90%contract = ~24.5g
*in comparison to training without contract
in a 30day periode (with 31 times of cheaper training it is even more)
but
if you just train in TCs 1,2 & 3 you lose money with the contracts
and if you train in TCs 1,2 & 4 (like i do) you get more money if you use the 50%contract
you'll get more money with 1,2,4 but not much more and you will lose out on the q3s 20 strength per day, I can afford the extra little bit of gold, but i guess not everyone can.
training is just pointless so i just do it because. but upgrading my 3rd TC just to have it at Q4... it's not like the 20str extra will get me sth in return...
Excellent article, Edelmann.
