Get Connected! - The Guide to the Forums and IRC

Hey there, Cyg here to tell you about how to get more involved in the eUK Community!



The Forums

First of all, you should go to http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/ and register an account using the button saying “register” in the top right corner. After clicking register, you will be asked if you agree to the terms and conditions. Next, you will be asked to put your preferred username, your email address and password. After registering you will notice that the forums are separated into many sub forums. These sub forums are dedicated to anything from politics to just messing about After you’ve registered on the forums, the best place to go is the “New Players” subforum and check a few of the topics out.



IRC

You can access IRC from the forums. Near the top of the page there is a button saying “IRC”, when you click this, you will be taken to a page where you get to connect to IRC after choosing a nickname, which can be whatever you want it to be. When you click connect, you will automatically be connected to the official eUK channel (#euk). You can join other channels by typing /join (or /j) #ChannelNameHere. You may also want to join the channel #MoD (the channel for the Ministry of Defence)



Forum Survey

As our Forum team constantly remodels the forums for the demands of it's users, they're coming to you for your opinion on how to grow with the eUK community. Therefore they've assembled two forms where every member of the eUK can find himself in.

The first form is for the active forum member, this will help in their (daily) usage of the forums. So it can be made more user-friendly or just stay as it now: tinyurl.com/forumsurvey1

The second form is for the players of eRepublik who have never visited the forums due to various reasons, so time to sum up problems you may have found for not registering an account on the eUnited Kingdom Official Forums: tinyurl.com/forumsurvey2
