[M2G] Past, Present, Future

Wow, it’s been awhile since I wrote a personal article. A lot has been happening and I’ve been a bit busy with other things. However it is beyond time for me to give an update on a few things I’ve been working on.

Air Force



A couple weeks ago the Commanding Officer of Air Force stepped down, and I was promoted to take his place. On that front, a lot has been going on. We’ve got a great staff that has been working their asses off to make sure that our airmen are supplied and hitting in the battles they need to. A lot of great people have stepped up, and I hope that they will continue to do so! I’m glad to see so many people getting involved.

AMP



My time here in AMP has been a blast, and it is only just beginning! I’ve met and worked with some damn fine people. I spent a month as the Comm deputy, 2 months as Comm Director, and am currently the Chief of Staff. I’ve had a lot of fun not just working with the other Round Table members, but with all the “Regular” members as well.

One other thing while I am talking about our party. I want to announce my intentions to run for AMP PP this coming 15th! I am currently working on building my staff, so if you are in AMP and would like to help me continue the legacy we have, please fill out this app

Department of Education



The position that has been taking up the largest portion of my time is Secretary of Education. I have had a blast helping new players get involved in this game. I hope that what we have done has made an impact, and I look forward to the future! To that end, I will be stepping down from the Secretary position at the end of this term. I will always be helping new players, but part of that is getting them set up to succeed in politics as well. It is time for me to pass the reigns to someone else. I will be staying on as an advisor (if they want), but I will not hold any official title there.

Conclusion

I have had a busy eLife and an even busier last month or two. But I love playing this game, I love the people I’ve met and the friends I have made. I look forward to my continued time in this game, and the people I will meet along the way. I promise I will always be working to make this a better place for people to find a community, whether it is the communities I am in or not.

We are in a very interesting time in this game. For only having played this game half a year, I’ve seen a lot of changes and am already reminiscing about “the good ole days”. Those days are past, but I see a bright hope for the future if we work together. New and old players alike, we need you to step up to help.
