On day 1294 after the loss of Louth, The United Kingdom's Irish colony, the 1st Armoured Division was made. This article contains: The battle for Paris, RIP stranger, quiz night incoming, the Republic of Macedonia, Ireland is dying and increasing supression.





The battle for Paris

Where were you when the battle for Paris was taking place? Well 1st Armoured Division was there!

I expect I will get a certain amount of stick for it and some people will not support this article because of it, but France is an ally of the UK. France has been an ally for a long time and only today the UK's MPP was renewed with France.

The UK MoD has not released an article (yet) asking UK citizens to fight there but hasn't released an article asking people to fight elsewhere. This is likely to be because we have allies that are on both sides of the divide. As a result it is a politically 'difficult' situation.

However it is not a difficult choice for me, to our friends I say: we will fight for all of you. France is our ally and you have to respect that. We will be there defending France's capital and last region like we would to any of you.

Long live the UK and long live our friends!




RIP stranger

A erepublik player called PsyJiM has died. I do not know who PsyJiM is and I have never met him, however that does not stop me wishing him the best...

Quiz night incoming!

Tomorrow (day 1,332) 1st Armoured Division is having a 5-a-side quiz against 40 Commando. It will involve two teams fighting against each other for honour, glory and a sizeable prize (yet to be decided).

It will be held at 20:00 GMT (12:00 erep time) and it will be held in 1st Armoured's IRC Channel, (#1starmoured on Rizon).

1st Armoured Division members get over there and show your numbers to 40 Commando who will be there. 40 Commando go and watch your boys and girls lose, and anyone else who wants to watch you are more than welcome too.



I don't know about it being the ultimate quiz, but I expect it will be damn good.




The Republic of Macedonia

In short the Macedonians don't like the name the Greeks encouraged the admins to give to the Republic of Macedonia. The Macedonias don't want their country to be called Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). FYROM means: Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia. From now they want to be known as just the Republic of Macedonia.

Yesterday the population of Ireland was 491, today it is 479.

Increasing supression

People have been engaging in dicussions on the 1st Armoured Division forum. People have been voting and expressing their views too.

However the secret police is coming on nicely and we should be able to repress any hope of a better future. I will be recording how much repression we are doing and I will keep you informed. Before too long we hope to turn our unit into a small backwards nation. Enjoy the ride 🙂
