Hi there, like you I am yet another irrational but obsessed player who is still alive in eRepublik. For some reasons, I want to recall the time when I was a lazy stupid high school student.

Hence, I will try to share a song that I used to play, along with the feelings and memories with you. After all, sharing life with friends and strangers is the sole reason for me to stay, let us see if we had a similar life.

A short Cantonese special edition. You know where to find it.

I began to join the annual assemble when I was about 16. I learnt the "facts" there, listened to the sharing sessions from the elderly, sang this song throughout the assemble. Honestly, nothing appeared to be real for a 90's because most of the old men used to argue at their own perspectives with their political stances. It can be easily converted to just a simple political situation without the context, then why should I been there? Meh, old Chinese men were good at political mud wrestling.

90's did not experience the history, so we can only carry the memories. But I am certain that this song should have captured most of the feelings and memories of the people at that time. What a neat, motivating and meaningful lyrics. It reminds me the faith of being a stubborn man who is seeking betterment and limitlessness. At least, it enforces me to ask "why" and look for reasonable explanations when I have doubts about various old-fashioned social norms, but not to accept them and say "it is life and get used to it".

"Get used to it," in Cantonese slang.

Being a postgraduate student, I am open for any ideas and comments as long as they are constructive discussion.
