Day 1,567, 02:40 Published in India India by Uv Ajed

Thought of the Day -"Although our interests as citizens vary, each one is an artery to the heart that pumps life through the body politic, and each is important to the health of democracy."

After a triumphant, exuberant and prosperous month under the competent and prolific leadership of the Country President, Hemanathan, from Indian Worker's Party, the election day is finally here marking an end of, what many consider to be, a successful tenure. Hemanathan has affluently used his time in office to address issues abating to the concerns about the geographical expansion of the country through a victorious military campaign against eThailand leading to it's annexation by eIndia without compromising with the military help to the allies of eIndia in their campaigns, successfully squashing the resistance war effort by eThailand and pacifying the growing concerns about the low population of eIndia by increasing it slightly through new eRepublik recruitment.

Hemanathan will leave office tomorrow, on 1567 Day at 06:00 Hrs, and will be replaced by the new Country President who is to be elected in the Presidential election held on 1566 Day by the citizens of eIndia.
The two hopefuls for this post Octavius Dryst, supported by Indian Worker's Party, the biggest party of eIndia in terms of membership strength & the current ruling party, and Shakti Rocks, supported by the youth oriented Yuuva India & the libertarian Democratic Party of India, are leaving no stones unturned in their campaign for the post of the Country President.

VS

While the current trends show both the candidates as equally strong, only time will unfold the real winner. Octavius Dryst's manifesto, which includes increasing GDP by 3%, keeping the current regions & expansion of eIndia through annexation of Sumatra from eIndonesia, has come under heavy fire from the critics of few quarters for being ambitious & unrealistic in terms of economy, foreign affairs, allies support & preservation of current regions, Octavius Dryst has repeatedly stressed that it's a working plan & a much needed change, which can be achieved without compromising on any sectors. His goals also includes offering Thailand a chance to be a protectorate of India, improving the communication, co-ordination & community of eIndia, removing interest loans & driving the Indian economy forward by using more socialistic approach, while sharing power within the cabinet which would include experienced members from all political parties.

Shakti Rocks on the other hand has expressed his views on avoiding wars, helping allies and suppressing the resistance war among his military objectives. His other policies in terms of foreign affairs, internal affairs & finance includes relaunching ambassador programme, starting a world news report, increasing the coverage about the government in the media, merging Rajya Sabha & Lok Sabha, investigating the current tax structure and recruiting youth & experienced players into the cabinet. Some political pundits have criticized the manifesto for being outdated, overused and not offering a change or anything new. Shakti Rocks responded to these accusations by claiming that it is in a universal interest for well being of the citizens of eIndia.

Only future as such will be the witness to the new chapter being written in the history of eIndia's politics.

We congratulate Hemanathan for a successful term and wish him all the best for his future endeavors.

We wish success & victory to Octavius Dryst & Shakti Rocks on their pursuit and hope that whoever wins the election, keeps up his promise, sticks to his views and helps us realize our dream of being a Super Power.
