But the Kavala isn't in thrace..
Kavala is in East Macedonia..
Thrace includes (from East to West) Alexandroupolis, Komotini and Xanthi..
So you must remove the Kavala and add the Komotini in Thrace Picture...
And why you mention the name of the Ottoman occupation period, instead the official Hellenic Republic name "Alexandroypolis" from the 1920 in honor of King Alexander?

@Imran it's not a city. Its a popular place to visit in Crete island.
@Tasos Tsitsiras. Kavala is in Thrace or in East Macedonia. Its the same http://www.in2greece.com/mappages/ellada.gif
I mention that because it was the first name of the city. We all know and understand where the name Alexandroupolis comes from. My point was to learn something new. (Ps I don't have any turkish relationship or something else... I would like to say something for them but I will take fp 😛 )

Aegean Macedonia is the most beautiful of them all.
Η σημερινή περιοχή της Ανατολική Μακεδονίας - Θράκης κατοικούνταν στην αρχαία εποχή από Θράκες, όπως η περιοχή της Καβάλας - Κεραμωτής ή η περιοχή του Παγγαίου. Άρα η Καβάλα μπορεί να θεωρηθεί Θράκη, άσχετα αν δεν ανήκει διοικητικά στην περιοχή της Θράκης.
