Hunting season and Taxation

In previous articles I explained why a training war between Switzerland and Austria is a good idea. From a point of view such a war looks like a hunting season for medal hunters from all over the world. Our countries like hunting grounds for them. So we can develop tourist industry and make profit.
Let's try to figure out what taxation is the best for our tourist industry.
Fancy, we open hunting season and hundreds of hunters arrive. They unpack their favorite q5 shotguns they brought and start shooting on the hunting grounds. After a running in our forests and plains after pray, exhausted, they come to reload their shotguns and have a snack in our restaurants. Prices are high but they don't want to bother donating form other countries. They change their gold for francs and pay for our food. Some of them need extra weapon to finish pray they buy it in hunting shops too. Some of them need one way tickets, back to their homes.
How do we empty the tourists' pockets as much as possible?
VAT
This tax is paid by everyone who buys from our market.
We expect a lot of tourists arriving to for hunting and them buying our food. Here we place a high tax.
30% in food
5% in weapon, tickets
1% in the rest
Import tax
We've got to put the same burden on the foreign companies, maybe even a little more
35% in food
5% in weapon, tickets
1% in the rest
Income tax.
I think half of our GDP is produced with manager work. They don't get salary hence they won't pay the income tax. This tax will affect the poor most, those who don't have their own companies. It is paid directly buy our citizens. As a compensation for high rate in other kind of taxes I would keep income low:
1% in all industries.
The reform in part of tax for food should be made in two or three stages. 10% in a week 20%, then 25%, 30%. If we ever come to 30%.

30% for food is worst idea you can propose. what is your target with such high rate? the state can nothing do with this CHF because the monetary market is crashed. the gold amount on the offer side is very small, so the state sit just of a big mountain chf where not can be used. we do not need higher tax but rather we need more gold investors for our economy.
it is generally a problem in switzerland that politicians always wanted manipulate the tax and promise good things. but the real change what we need are increase of investors and not tax manipulation. deep tax is the basic of grow economy. our state can anyway nothing do with many chfs.
Sminter, you miss the point. The tourists will bring gold. They will buy our currency. They will buy our food. There will be constant offer of gold. If we don't do such high taxation all this gold will pass by the treasury. And we'll remain what we are: no army, no international influence, nothing.
I support the idea of a tax increase is inevitable for the survival of a country. We have the lowest taxes in the world, and yet it does not enriched us more than others ...
I propose a 15% VAT on all products (30% off food is much too high: we have to balance on all products).
I propose a tax on imports of 15% for raw materials and 10% for the rest.
Regarding income tax, do not strangle the employee of our country! I propose 5% tax on income.

The idea was to take from tourists as much as possible and damage wellbeing of our citizens as less as possible.
VAT on all products will affect our citizens the most. Because tourists will not buy houses and hardly ever they will buy expensive weapon or tickets. These things they'll bring along. While we will have to pay this VAT because we will buy from our market.
Tourists will buy food because food of 300 wellness it is to much to carry in baggage. That's why I propose to put such a big tax on food only. Tourists will pay it the most. 5% on other stuff that we buy for ourselves is all right.
Import tax should repeat VAT. As simple as that. We do not produce some things and we need to import.
Income is paid only by employees. Managers do not pay it. So I propose 1%. No need to burden the poor people.
Now we see that all taxes are concentrated in one place as 30% on food. Which is paid by tourists.
We should certainly not put 30% in the food!
I propose a tax of food following:
15% VAT
5% import tax
5% tax on income
I think we should also create a minimum charge of 5%. Lower, it brings nothing.
Your plan to tax only the food is unsuitable for me.
What is the idea when you propose this rate? You just feel it is right? Not a solid basis for a tax reform. In any other circumstances I would never offer 30%. It is ridiculous to charge so much. But we have a unique situation. So the decision is unusual too.
Of course I may be mistaken and 30% will not work out. That's why I propose to make it in a few stages:
"...10% in a week 20%, then 25%, 30%. If we ever come to 30%..."
I want you to test my thinking. May be you can prove it wrong and point out what I missed.
Higher taxes are one of my priority, I'll explain them soon in an article. I support the idea, but maybe not the numbers.
