eRep CEO Caught BSing in RL Media: The Admins Don't Want You To Know!

THE ADMINS DELETED MY FIRST ARTICLE.
YOU CANNOT STOP US.
HERE IS THE TRUTH AGAIN.

READ THIS: eRepublik releases major relaunch to increase gamer power and retention (TechCrunch)

This is it. This is our chance as a community to force the admins to fix all the bugs and broken parts of this game.

The CEO and Founder of eRepublik, Alexis Bonte, is looking for further venture capital funding to keep the lights on. Player retention is a huge problem for eRep, as is customer service. So what does Bonte have to say in the article?

Let's do some factchecking.

"1.8 million registered users"
FALSE

Stop misrepresenting your userbase to score money. eRep could have 5 billion registered users - doesn't change the fact that only 10% are active, ongoing players.

"we polled over 14,000 users" before V2
O RLY?

Last time I checked, eRep has a policy of not bothering to reply to "Messages to Administrators" on your forums. If anything, the admins of eRep are known for NOT listening/responding to their clients - US!!!

"90,000 players can simultaneously fight in battle"
FALSE

Not so far - the admins have been lucky to keep the battle engine running at all. And this is supposed to be the finished product after Beta?

“there is a lot browser games can learn from Facebook games and vice – versa"
CORRECT!

LIKE MAKING SURE YOUR GAMES ACTUALLY WORK AS INTENDED! The reason games on Facebook actually make money is because they don't break - they're only as complex as they need to be.

Okay. Here's what I want you all to do:

1. Forward this article around - we need to get the word out.

2. Write a constructive comment on the TechCrunch article

The more truth we give to the real world, the more Alexis Bonte will get spanked in public, in full view of the watching media. CEO's don't like to be spanked - in fact getting caught with your pants down in public is the best time to make concessions.

Since no one listens to our tickets, to our open letters, to our forum posts, the only thing we have left is coercion by embarrassment. That's what you've left us, and that's what you'll get. He's already responding to previous comments, and so has the journalist who wrote the article.

It's working! The original article is the most commented on TechCrunch today.

200 comments so far! - that's more than QUADRUPLE the amount when we started!

KEEP THE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM COMING!

Any other ideas?

Stop it, Bonte!

P.S. Admins, banning me will only make me a martyr. Don't add to the fire.
